Interesting things have happened here. Today, I was approached by two men and one asked if I spoke English. I expected to give directions, but it turned out they were missionaries and asked if I needed prayer for anything. I said I sure did. They laid hands on me and prayed to banish the cancer from me. I wouldn't have met them if I had turned left instead of right, looking for a cafe. I have gotten to ride my white horse two times as well. Friday on the way to the movie theater, a disabled man in a motorized wheelchair could not put his gloves on as it started to rain, so I did it for him. Last night, in a younger crowd bar, some drunk guy started slapping his girlfriend around. I pointed it out to the bar staff, then went and got in his way. He yelled about how that was his girlfriend and swung, well more like sloppily flailed at me. I easily blocked the clumsy assault while turning to protect my chemo port. If this had been in the USA, I would have thrown an elbow across his jaw and knocked him out. The girlfriend didn't thank me but that was okay.

I just read about Big Meatball Dave. In my mind, it felt like he and I were battling side by side against the cancer monster. He often posted in this thread and the first one I had, Bad News. Sacc posted, too, and he is absent from here but I hope it isn't because of his condition. Dave can't post anymore and his time may well be short, but he is already missed. I have no idea if I will survive or not, but I wished Dave would and Sacc, too, and I feel so saddened by the news about Dave. God bless and keep you, Brother, and I will see you in our Father's house one day.

I think my blood cell counts are rising. Yesterday, I must have walked a mile in a town near where I am now and I was not out of breath or sweating. Walking the same distance when I was back in Kansas would have had me worn out. The beers are working!
