I'm torn on this whole "crying for winning silver" thing. On the one hand, it smacks of sore-loserism. On the other hand, when you train all your life to be the best, and you end up 2nd-best, it probably sucks balls; no one remembers who came in 2nd.

Well, in team events, it's given in a loss. Tough to be excited about losing.

That should be changed.

I think the loser in the gold medal game should get the bronze, and the bronze medal game should become the silver medal game.
