He's got a lot going on in his personal life right now. I don't recall him reacting this way in the past.

Seriously, can somebody answer that for me?
How big is a reach of Cody at 2a? Thomas at 2b? Linval at 3? Troup at 3? |

Cody's probably going before the Chiefs 2a pick now but I think Hughes is too so...

In the fifth round of the 2010 NFL draft the Atlanta Falcons select
Anthony Dixon RB Mississippi State This gives them the banger back that they need in their offense at a great value. |

I thought about Weston and PM'ed OTW about it, but in the end, his production at the college level put him a notch below Ross, IMO.

This pick is easy. This guy was insanely productive at a major program, notching over 100 tackles in each of the last two years. He put on an extra 15 pounds of weight in the offseason, which gives him flexibility. I think he can play any one of the three LB positions in a 4-3, but the best use of his talents would be on the outside. He's a solid tackler and good in coverage for a backer, but he's also a solid contributor against the run.
The Houston Texans select Roddrick Muckelroy, OLB, Texas

That's a solid pick, Muckelroy should be a 4th rounder.

I should say that overall, I'm lukewarm to decently satified with OTW's mock for the Chiefs. I know I've railed on him all over the Draft but that's because it's easier to talk about your disagreement than your agreement.
Berry is aces, of course. I do like Hughes at 2a, but I hate not going Cody there. So while I hate the pick I really like the player. It's hard to argue with Chad Jones with 2b. That's great value, but it does corner the rest of OTW's draft. Gilyard I genuinely didn't like atop the 3rd. Didn't hate it, though. McCoy is an interesting pick atop the 4th. Again, I would have gone elsewhere but it's still a good pick. The 5th rounders: Scott I honestly don't know a lot about, Witten was an excellent usage of the depth of passrushers in this draft and it finally gives us some depth at the position, maybe OTW's best pick of the draft, but Ross was just an abortion. I would have gone: 1. S Berry 2. NT Cody 2. OLB Sapp 3. C Walton 4. WR Roberts/Decker flip a coin 5. OT Young 5. OLB Witten 5. ILB Micah Johnson Compare your lives to mine and kill yourselves. QB: Cassel, Croyle, Gutierrez RB: Charles, Jones, Williams, Smith FB: Castille WR: Bowe, Chambers, Roberts/Decker, Wade, Lawrence TE: Pope, Cottam, O'Connell LT: Albert, Richardson LG: Waters, Harris C: Walton, Niswanger RG: Lilja, Brown RT: O'Callaghan, Young DE: Dorsey, Magee NT: Cody, Edwards DE: Jackson, Gilberry OLB: Hali, Witten ILB: Johnson, Belcher ILB: Johnson, Williams OLB: Hughes, Vrabel CB: Flowers, Carr, Leggett, Washington, Daniels S: Berry, Morgan, Page, McGraw K: Succop P: Colquitt KR/PR: Charles/Lawrence/whatevs |

Decker is to injury prone for me and Micah Johnson's 40 time probably dropped him into round 6 or 7, hell Brandon Spikes might be a 5th rounder now.
McCoy is a pure value pick in the 4th he shouldn't be there with that pick, and I'm not a fan of Gilyard either but it does at the very least finally give the team a guy who can return. |

Running 5 flat 40's is not good for your stock.
I have a few guys that'll go at the end of the draft that I love, but I'm not saying anything because I'm probably going to take a few of them for these teams I have here. |

In the fifth round of the 2010 NFL draft the Pittsburgh Steelers select
Vince Oghobaase DE Duke I think they have a serious need on their DL and even though Im not a huge fan of the player, he fills a need with decent value. Last edited by BossChief; 03-26-2010 at 08:49 PM.. |

The Bengals select Brandon Lang, DE, Troy
He has some upside, and can give them a rusher off the edge |

I've ignored the offensive line long enough. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Marshall Newhouse, OT/G, Texas ChristianPosted via Mobile Device
