Kansas fans were preparing to rush the field, but it wasn't to be.

FYP....NU has gone bowling and been in the B10 mix every year. Granted, they blow a couple of games, have not won a league title, and their talent is no where near the level it used to be, but being 8-4, 9-3. etc. and going bowling is good.

KU is just not good at football. They are just awful. PB tries to poke Bo in this thread about NU football, but he fails miserably...considering every KU football fan on this forum would kill to be consistently going 8-4, 9-3 and going to a bowl game. So as much as PB wants to dig at NU football, deep down he would give his left nut for KU to be that good.

Bitch tries to dig at EVERY school to bring them down to KU's level. Serious inferiority complex on that one.

On the contrary we are trying to bring you up to our level. Only 5 schools have pulled off the title + a final four/BCS win. We want you to stop slumming with the Nebraskas of te world and raise your game.

It's like when a once great conference used to win national titles in football regularly. Then, they were playing for and losing titles. Then, they weren't even in the conversation. Now, all they have to crow about is the fact that the rules in place prevent the best conference from placing more than two teams into the major bowl games (as opposed to the four that would have gone otherwise), and so they get a couple of teams into good, but ultimately meaningless, bowls.

The conference is a has-been, and the flagship school has become a national punch line after begging a coach to come and getting rejected. Here's a school who can pay more than most NFL teams, and they still can't get the coach they want.

Did we? Cool. I don't really pay attention to that stuff...certainly not until football season is over.

So, how far in the future will you continue trying to use that one successful football season in the last 20 or 30 years to say that your school isn't a one sport school?

Flipping channels I can across Nebraska hoops playing some crap school. Place is packed. I googled to find Nebraska was 38th in attendance last year at 10,300 per and have pre-sold all 15,000 seats for each game this year.

Pelini says nobody cares about basketball, but the Corn's own fan base strongly disputes that lie. Extending it up to Omaha we find Creighton finished an astounding 6th nationally. Nebraska residents are crazy about the sport!
