Mahomes isn't like any of those QB's dude.

Btw-Vick was in the MVP discussion when he was in Philly playing for Andy.

Vick was fun to watch but he got killed and he was injured a lot.

It's a fair comparison, much better than comparing him to Rogers.

Lol you have never watched Mahomes if you really think he's more comparable to the guys you mentioned.

That or you're just an idiot.

Mahomes may pan out but he's a few years away from being ready. He's a project because the air raid offense does not translate to the NFL.

Everyone in college has transitioned to a spread offense. The NFL is transitioning to a spread league.

Most of the spread QB's fail bc they get thrown into a bad situation early or have horrendous coaching.

Winston and Wentz both came from pro style offenses and Bama runs a pro style offense, but I agree that is not the norm. I do think Mahomes is in a good situation and that Smith will play one, maybe two, more years and that's it, it's all on Mahomes to perform. KC is tied to Mahomes now.

Seems like Denver is going to use Charles the way I wanted them to use McCaffery. Which is using him to create mismatches in the passing game against LB's/safeties and only running the ball against favorable looks. Should help him stay healthy, hopefully.

Quote:
“I just want to use my abilities to help and catch it out the backfield,” Charles said. “I run screens really well, being patient, running routes out the backfield. That’s kind of been a part of my game the last couple years. I like [Mike] McCoy, the offensive coordinator, and what he did in San Diego and now being back with the Broncos. I’ve seen what his vision is and I see what my vision is — to help the team out of the backfield and catch the ball. That is what my job is. I’m out here to help the team out.”

I totally see him as a passing option to keep drives alive. There should be low expectations for a highlight reel.

This maybe one of the dumbest football observations I have ever seen on CP.

I would take him as my QB everyday and twice on Sunday.
