mmmmmmmmmmm

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the director divulged that it was no accident that the full names of main characters Finn and Rey (played by John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, respectively) had yet to be revealed. “I will only say about that that it is completely intentional that their last names aren’t public record,” said Abrams.

Through all the videos, articles, and pics, we've had virtually nothing on Benecio Del Toro. Strange? Or maybe is his character way more minor than we've been set up to believe?

Alot of people are speculating that he's Ezra Bridger, who also has a scar on his face.

It's on the wrong side in photos, but the theory is they've flipped all the photos.

I've called that since they announced Del Toro, but I'm afraid it might be too obvious (especially at this point). I think it was you that pointed out how Ezra is actually older than Luke an dhow Del Toro's character doesn't look as old or haggard as Luke does (might be because of a ton of shit going on with Luke, who knows).

He's either going to be a bit character or a major player, nothing in between. /Sherlock

Trailer was misdirection.

https://www.reddit.com/r/SequelMemes...nese_subtitle/

Quote:
I've noticed the moment when Snoke says "When I found you", the subtitle uses the feminine "you" which is "妳" as oppose to the gender neutral "you" which is "你".

The former is the combination the word "女", which means female and "尔" which means you; while the latter is gender neutral that can be used to indicates female and male, but mainly used for male.

This means that when Snoke says "When I found you", Snoke is talking to a female character, which in my opinion is most likely Rey at this point.

After that, near the end of the trailer, when Snoke says "Fulfill your destiny", the "you" the subtitle wrote is now "你", which means that Snoke talking to a male character now. So at this point, Snoke is not probably referring to Kylo or other male characters.

Lastly, when Luke says "This is not going to go the way you think" , the "you" again is written "你", which means the Luke is talking to a male character. At this point, Luke is probably not talking to Rey, but someone else.

YouTube link to the Taiwanese TLJ trailer

What do you guys think of this finding?

I consider myself pretty well versed in all things Star Wars, but that is some serious deep dive investigation going on there, heh. Never would have made those connections on my own.

I've suspected that theory anyway, but that video pretty much sells me on it.

That guy did a great job with that video. His Chapter III pretty much sealed it.

If she truly is a Kenobi that eventually hooks up with Ben Solo, the next trilogy is likely about their offspring creating a new Force order.

Maybe, just maybe, we’ll finally get beyond the Empire/First Order story arc.

The galaxy doesn’t need two warring factions to be constantly fighting in order to create interesting stories in the Star Wars galaxy.

I think the bad guys are going to win in Episode IX. Snoke kills Luke and destroys the Resistance, and takes over rulership of The Republic.

Episode X-XII will be about Rey and Ben bringing back the light.

It'll be like a "what if Obi Wan and Anakin had teamed up to take on the Emperor instead of fighting each other" scenario.

Have they already said there will be another trilogy or are you speculating on that?
