By yourself?
At least invite Billay. He's alone that night too.

I don’t normally post up stuff about restaurants.
But we were up in Denver. (Got to see DaFace - What up!) While we were up there we ate at Salt Grass Steakhouse. I don’t get too wound up about steakhouses because I can turn out pretty decent charred cow, but I had a bone in ribeye and it was super legit. I should have grabbed a picture but **** it was good. I didn’t even look at the ticket. The menu said market price LOL but definitely hit up the place if you’re ever there. |

We went to a new steakhouse last night. It was super dim, so I doubt I’d have been able to photograph it anyway. I had: That was a top 3 meal I’ve had since moving to Alabama eight years ago. Wife had: Massive shrimp, and excellent preparation of the grits. The Tasso sauce was amazing. This place is old school fine dining. Cart service, domed entrees (klosch, I think it’s called?), amuse bouche, sorbet, bon bond to finish. Cost isn’t outrageous, but it’s a special occasion place at $40-$50 per person if you’re ordering their dry aged steaks. |

Cross posting because I wanna.
Not bad for a first run on the Blackstone. Everything was a little under seasoned, but live and learn. Love the griddle so far though. |

That awesome looks fun. Staying outside do you treat and haul in the cooktop or just treat and keep covered good?

Shrimp and Grits tonight. Pulled the recipe from online. It's a Bobby Flay recipe. Link below.
I thought herb and bacon mixture that went into cooking the shrimp was excellent. A lot of parsley, maybe, but it worked. The grits probably could have used less cheese. Two cups was a lot. I enjoyed it, but one cup was probably fine. I mean, this ain't a pizza at Dinny's house for crying out loud. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foo...pe-1911862.amp |
