We give KJ shit for his rebounding, but Maluach only had 1.

7’2. 1 rebound.

There should have been at least 5 flagrant 2s called in this Auburn game based on the precedent set with Dickinson

Great game last night! Bullshit call on Dickinson that altered the game - luckily we still came out on top.

I'm as big a KJ hater as there is but man he came through big time last night. Great game for the kid.

Even though I think the flagrant 2 was a BS ball (should have been a flagrant 1, at most), I love the fact that Flory got some valuable minutes in a big time game and we still pulled out the win.

Flory would never get those minutes in that game unless Dickinson fouled out or was hurt.

I’d rather he foul out than be hurt, so this was great.

Since it didn’t end up losing us the game, I’m glad it happened.

Chiefs : 10-1, going for a 3 peat
Royals : got a wildcard and won a series
KU Basketball : Number 1 team in the nation and has already beaten UNC, Michigan State, and Duke
KU Football : won 3 straight against ranked teams (2 blowouts) and 1 win away from a third straight bowl

These might be the good old days.

It's nice to be ranked #1 and actually playing like we're the #1 team in the country.

Well, slow down your enthusiasm some, way too early for this talk, way way too many good teams still trying to find themselves out!

Just way too many!

But a Great Win, it's something to work with on definingwho we want to be!

I was prouder of hanging on that blowing them out like the start of the game!

Total team effort tonight! Great to have a talented bench!

And players that can give you quality minutes off the bench. We have not seen that in awhile .

I know Self traditionally likes to keep his whole rotation at 7-8 players, max. But I think we'll see a lot out of 10-ish guys this season. He's got multiple options at 4 positions and I think we'll see him ride the hot hand a lot. What a luxury.

We know KU never plays their best ball until Jan/Feb and this team already looks like a Final 4 team. Rock Chalk boys!

If KJ had hit one more bucket, I would have hit on a huge 6 pick parlay.

And of course he bricked his last shot. LOL
