They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

What made the WRs terrible today? Fumbles?

In the first half I saw a dropped punt, bad INT, a lost fumble by Watson and a Toney fumble that led to a 2nd and 22. Not to mention some questionable play calling and losing the entire running game playbook. Oh, and a pass to an OL.

The 2nd half the OTs set the team back.

I thought Watson did a good job catching what was thrown to him as did Moore. IIRC, Rice caught everything targeted at him. I don’t know why MVS is on the team if they aren’t going to scheme any deep stuff to him.

They don’t have a #1 WR and Kielce is clearly not healthy, but as Twisted has pointed out, it’s essentially the same receiving group as last year.

Give the young guys some developmental time and give Reid some time to draw up plays to their strengths. It would also help if they ran more. The tackles are a bigger problem right now.

YES.

This dude gets it.

And he's been a leading force in the "I want to make love to George Pickens" fan club.

You can be very "meh" on Skyy Moore but still feel like this team has the ability to do everything that they did last year.

Seems to me that Moore had 70 yards and a TD today.

Seems to me that Mahomes threw for over 300 yards, with Kelce only getting 26, with two drops.

Seems to me that maybe the problem today was like ten offensive penalties, none on the WR's.

And we kneeled after having first and goal inside the 5; so it's a little disingenous to imply that we could only score 17 today. We literally declined to score more because the game was in hand.

Seems to me that perhaps the WR corps had a much better game than week one, and is trending up.

So that's it. We lost JJSS. The guy who went to the Patriots and is their equivalent of Ritchie James as their WR4/5. And that's the problem? We should've matched them at 8mm/yr for the next 2?

And the above is putting aside the fact that we all know he lacks maturity and is a complete child.

I’m not even arguing that our WR suck.

I think our scheme sucks. Guys like Tutu Atwell and Nico Collins are putting up monster numbers while we have guys WAY more talented that are doing next to nothing.

Why? Target Rice. Target Toney. Get the ball in the hands of
Playmakers.

I've been told on good authority that Moore's last catch did NOT actually count and he only had 8yds/reception.

I can't believe we're sitting here with a defense that looks like a legitimate top 5 defense, especially when Omenihu is back, and people are shitting their pants.

Lol, I’ll bet Skyy averages Right around 8-10 yds/catch for the season, and something like 85% of his catches including YAC will be around 9 yds.

You want to bet he averages closer to 24 yds/catch on the season, say, $1000?

We've had 5 straight seasons of hosting the AFCC. The coach has not changed, nor has the QB. We're basically bringing back the exact same WRs we had last year, and that team won the goddamn Super Bowl.

When we've had struggles, our coach has a perfect track record of fixing those issues and getting us back on track. Including starting 1-5 in 2015, 3-4 in 2019 (i think it was 3-4? It was a losing record, I do remember that) and losing a bunch of random shitty games in 2021 while our offense was stagnant and ass.

The team currently has a longer and more sustained track record of success than any team in the NFL.

Frankly, I think it's pretty arrogant to say just because you see what you see after 2 games that we shouldn't assume we're poised to have success in the playoffs like we have each of the 5 previous seasons of Mahomes.

Good Christ, Chris. You’re so much better than that. Moore picked up 40
Yards on a busted coverage. Let’s not act like he’s special. Literally
Anyone could have accomplished what he did today.

So Skyy Moore is now JuJu?

Ok, let's see it again next week.
