This tells me two things:

1. From this exchange it looks like I was right that R8ers insults aimed at Dane were at the heart of your antipathy toward him.

2. You don't know what the word "surly" means.

I don't think you're following this correctly. This whole ARE YOU IN DEBT! thing was new. Prior to that, I'd always gotten along with him, both as R8ers and RaidersRock. To me, he was nothing more than an obnoxious but amusing enemy fan, not much different than Ugly Duck.

A lot of people didn't like him, especially the beakers. It's not like I only liked him because he pissed Skip and other KU types off.

But it certainly helped.
