And also, even if every single guy on that list is better than Franklin, every one of them except Higgins came nowhere close to the 32nd pick, and clearly Higgins should've been taken much earlier.
So again, this comes down to your expectations at 32 being completely unrealistic. For example, DJ isn't a huge fan, but he still understands that with that combination of youth, speed, and upside, it isn't going to get much better picking last. |

I like this attitude because most fans on this board said Jordan Love "was garbage" after he played 4 games. But still I don't think Jamo has a lot more to offer. We shall see but just being fast doesn't translate to NFL production unless there are other + traits that combine with it. Flowers excited me last year because it was the combo of things. The speed, the quickness, the change of direction, it was wow. If I get a fast guy I want some more stuff besides the 40 to make me excited.

They are both tall and fast, one has more upside however.

I expect Franklin to be DeVonta Smith 2.0. that's my comp and projection. Kid can ball and he's young. I'd move up to 25 to get him too. I just don't feel comfortable standing pat at 32 if he's the guy.

And like Smith, I think he'd be perfectly paired with a bigger guy (Rice/Brown). |

Throw in skinny frail Devonta is a DOG when the ball is in the air and that also is not Frankin. If that was the player Franklin was sign me up. I just don't see that comp at all.

If you just want to see sunshine and rainbows about every player then put me on ignore.
I'd rather talk football then participate in draft fan fiction.

To be fair I think Smith was a better route runner coming out BUT Franklin may have better releases already and he has more long speed and ability after the catch. I didn't think he's as good a prospect but he could absolutely end up with a higher ceiling.

Now Xavier Worthy is a "slot volume guy"?
I guarantee you would've said the same shit about Tank Dell. It's really odd how you continue to downplay the speed and HR ability of some of these WRs. I'm not super high on Mitchell, but I'm not going to just say he's slow and can't get separation without acknowledging his size, hands, body control, and fluidity. |

And since you want to keep pretending like you're the only guy that's ever been right about a WR (without actually providing the receipts):

It's ok, NFL scouts on the same team disagree on these players. I don't get why you get so worked up about this shit.

I keep coming back to this thread hoping to see more discussion about who might be available in the 2nd and third rounds and who y’all would prefer but the conversation seems to be stuck on first round guys that we are unlikely to draft. I didn’t see rashee rice in the 2nd last year. That surprised me. I think crow called it. I’d like to hear more analysis about 2nd and 3rd round wrs.
