that's terrible, I'm sorry you and your friend are going through that. it's really tough to get someone help when they can't see that they need it. hopefully she gets the help she needs soon.

I've got a family member with a lot of those same problems. The paranoia, too smart for her own good when it comes to talking to the professionals, cut off contact, along with blaming anyone and everyone for her situation. It's hell for everybody involved.

Lost my first wife to extreme mental illness. She wasn't naked in an airport but she ran a lot from the voices in her head and was committed many times. She's wasting away in assisted living facilities. I'm sorry for any of you that have family or friends like this.

Dude, you need to do better to have her in your life. It doesn't matter what shape she's in or her perception of reality.
