IIRC it's supposed to be a weak draft for Tackles, so that would impact the free agent market too.

Wonder what the first 2 years of that look like.

Betting it's not terribly dissimilar to Moore's.

Oh, and that giant Samoan for Philadelphia, but we're already running a giant Samoan experiment with Kingsley.
Dion Dawkins was a 2nd rounder at #63 overall and he has been very solid for Buffalo the last 7-8 years. Pretty much never missed a game, an underrated trait.

I don’t necessarily mind Moore, but I’d feel much more comfortable if Thuney was still penciled in at left guard. I don’t see why they felt the need to move on from him if they were potentially going to plug in another project at LT. Him next to a guy like Kingsley is asking for trouble. They could have moved money around and kept him another year.

I’m just saying, I’m not really sure how anyone can feel that much more comfortable with the current state of the left side of the line than they did before the offseason. You’ve got the 49ers backup LT and a raw project who flamed out at tackle protecting the blind side of the best QB on Earth. Sorry, but that concerns me and I’m not going to just pretend it doesn’t. This feels like the Skyy/Toney situation all over again and a lot of you will talk yourselves into it just like that, but they’re setting themselves up for an absolute mess.

I hope they still resign Humphries now. That would make me feel more comfortable.

I’m still intrigued about how far josh Simmons will fall in the draft. Probably wishful thinking but then again worthy fell right into our lap last year. His mock draft value seems to be anywhere from top 10 to bottom 20.
