No, but I would like a WR1, so we don't have to have a future HOF TE to make the passing game click.

Yep.

Take the bottom 20 starting TEs. Now go ahead and replace any of those dudes with Noah Gray. Do you really think that team loses ANY expected production out of the position whatsoever?

I'm not saying Noah Gray is currently top 10-15 at the position. I'm not interested in doing TE rankings. But there comes a point where yeah, some guys are more talented than others, but the position just is what it is, and the job that can be done by one guy at a certain level is equally replicable by a dozen other TEs.

You guys with your #1WR fetish.

If Kelce is out, you'll see a #1WR. And a 2, a 3, a 4. And it'll be different every week. And more to the point: that's perfectly fine and not a negative.

At what point do we stop saying "That's not what Andy does with ________" (or some variant on that)? Andy has changed and adapted with the times. Not making any promises, just that with Andy nothing is a guarantee.

Historically, he'll play them if he needs to. And this season, he probably will.

Have we ever had a future-HOF-regular-season-MVP-Super-Bowl-MVP QB throw to a college kid in the offseason and recommend that we draft him and then we do draft him?

It stands to reason that this could be different than the experience Jehu Chesson had with Alex Smith.

On a serious note it sounds like they've done it again. Johnson in the secondary has been impressive

Yep.

Look, I get that there are questions, but I think some of the guys are looking at this all wrong.

I think this is going to be FUN, I think it's going to be THRILLING, and I'm super excited to see how this shakes out.

There's no ****in' way that all these guys bust. Not with this GM/scouting, not with this coach, not with this QB. There's just no ****in' way all of these guys are wrong.

The fun part of this season is going to be seeing who rises to the top, and some of these guys are going to.

I think with John Ross deciding he didn't want to play football anymore, the way is clear for my favorite story Justyn Ross to maybe claim a spot. I'm not expecting anything, just rooting for the kid.

I think Moore is going to be the guy that really surprises. And I think Rice is going to get a lot more looks than people think.

I'm thinking we are going to have three 1000 yard receivers this year. Kelce, Moore, and Rice.

Just the opposite for me. I think Moore definitely grows but it is Rice that will surprise and eventually be 'that guy' who shares the 'baller label' with Kelce.

I think Moore is your steady Eddie, and Rice is the guy with star potential, I agree.

But a steady chain mover that catches everything is always valuable.

I hate the whole 'WR1' label, as it's a bullshit fantasy football term, but Rice definitely has star potential. I said it before the draft, and I'm saying it now-he's a 'Deandre Hopkins' type receiver. Very similar in style.

But Moore might well be an elite 'WR2'. If I might use that stupid terminology for a minute.
