In a game the Chiefs lost by six points, Alex Smith missed three wide open TDs

And yes he had a clean pocket on the second one.

When has this happened before...against the Steelers...in a crucial game....

Spoiler!

Flame away.

Well we knew we weren't gonna win them all I guess. Just sucks that it's to the Steelers at home AGAIN. It was almost like a mirror image of that game last year except we had many many more chances in this one. Even though we didn't start playing until the 4th quarter for some reason. This was just a disaster.

Oh and **** 3:30 home games. They just don't ever feel right.

Very much in question again on the Offensive side of the ball.

Fake fans? Aren't you one of those Niner "fans" who switched teams to root for Alex Smith? You would know about fake fandom.

Even with our Run defense being total shit our D held mostly when it mattered the most late in the 4th.

Can't say the same for our offense.

Because this is the shit most of us have been saying about Alex for years. He'll give you a few good highlight throws a game. But when it comes down to it he's going to miss wide open guys/overthrow/take a sack/or throw juuust short of the marker too many times. I'm tired of it.

It's the same shit year in and year out. That's why Mahomes was drafted. Was I the only one watching this game at the end knowing that Smith wasn't going to put this game on his back and punch it home?

I think other teams are starting to look forward to playing in Arrowhead because the tend to think the crowd will get the win and they can take the day off.

Don't get me wrong, Arrowhead is GREAT, but our players tend to take days off in Arrowhead while the other team comes in Amped-up! Lord knows our coaches take the day off. And debate about that is just plain stupid.

Smith blew it but he plYed hard. Cant dmsay tbat about our OL and ddefense. They let Brown have 9 catches for way ober 100 and Bell did more than he did in the plYoff game.
