How Excited or Not ..Are You??

The guys at work are kind of meh about the upcoming playoff game. They say if we play Pitt we will lose. Out of 3 people I talk to about our chances 2 out of 3 say we won't win at home!
I think more excitement will build when we know who we play. Personally I'm very excited and don't care who we play.. more worried about stopping the run and if Houstons knee is healthy enough for him to be a factor.

I have not been In love with this chiefs team like I have been with others in the past. I still watch every week, and root them on but I'm so numb to dissapointment It really wont bother me if at all if they lose.

I suppose I'm nowhere near as excited as I was to go through the entire 2013-2015 royals seasons.

Well, for one, I'm happy that the Chiefs won't need to account for Gronkowski, which is huge. The emergence of Terrance Mitchell has me less concerned with Edelman, Amendola, Mitchell and Hogan. Peters, Nelson, Mitchell, Sorenson, Parker and Berry won't likely allow the "big play" and Peters, Berry and Sorenson are a threat to cause turnovers on any down.

I like our chances much better with a healthy Houston but high scoring offenses, even without the services of Houston, Howard, Bailey and now DJ have been, for the most part, shut down and have only given up more than 20 points three times this season.

If this team is 100% healthy, they're a matchup nightmare. Kelce, Hill, Ware and West are all excellent receivers with the ability for huge YAC. West is finally healthy and showed that "wiggle" in the San Diego game that we haven't seen since the 2015 regular season. He and Ware make for a dynamic duo of "Thunder & Lightening" and if they remain healthy, will be difficult to contain, regardless of the defense.

With Kelce and Hill lining up inside and outside, this offense should explode.

I think we beat Pittsburgh at home idk I just have that feeling. Especially since we got embarrassed last time around. I don't see it happening this time. Our guys have a ton of fire in them right now and are showing it. If we go to NE then that's were I would worry. Idk Bill and Tom just seem to be unstoppable and when Tom was out they still won 4 games. **** the Patriots.

I think the Chiefs fan base has been beaten down for so long that they just expect the worst.

I fully disagree.

I think that the Chiefs are the "Best Team" and by a wide margin.

No, they're not the "best" offense. No, they're not the "best" defense.

But overall, the Offense, Defense and Special Teams account for the best overall team in the NFL.

Now, that doesn't guarantee victory but it sure gives them a damn good shot to finish with the Lombardi Trophy in hand.

If you think this team has anywhere the deficiencies of the 2003, 2006 or 2010 team, you're smoking crack.

The 2013 team won 11 games, many of those without Justin Houston and Tamba Hali. They put up 44 points, on the road, without Jamaal Charles, a one armed Justin Houston, a hobbled Tamba Hali, a just returned from injury Brandon Albert and suffered the losses of Donnie Avery, Brandon Flowers and Knile Davis, in the second half.

Last year, they made a historic 11 game run and had they not started 3 backup offensive lineman nor down to their #4 running back or without Houston or without their #1 WR (by a wide margin, too), they may have beaten New England on the road.

This isn't a Carl Peterson led franchise, Bub.

New england can run Blount at the chiefs 25 or 30 times, which isn't good.

Gonna take a herculean performance to go inthere and win, if they beat pitt

Really? You think the Steelers are going to come into Arrowhead and give Us a beating. Not going to happen.

And the Pats-beat us by 7 last year when we were playing 3rd stringers. I guess you forgot what happened when Tom came into KC the last time.

Good. Let Blount try to beat the Chiefs.

That means a quicker game and a quick strike offense from the Chiefs, which has shown in recent weeks that it can score quickly and come from behind.
