I just don't understand why we can't get rid of one bullpen guy for one of our minor leaguers just to try something new. These guys haven't been bad for a short period, they're all consistently bad for pretty much the entire season. I'm not asking to get rid of everyone, just try one guy out... just one.

See never a doubt. Judge is really no match for our bullpen.

Evan Sisk should be pitching for the major league team. There is no reason for him to be in AAA.

Well, the Twins just lost. At least that's something. Guardindians and Red Sox are both winning or have won.

Royals purposefully losing to the Yankees so they can win the AL East and we don’t have to worry about playing them in WC round in NY is some 4D Chess.

Second, giving credit to extremely low leverage situations as the same thing as high leverage is silly. Wow, he didn't allow a run in the ninth inning of a 13-3 game? He must be ready for Judge and Soto on the road in a tight game! The fact is that even if all you do is start from August, a month where he had a 1.5 era, his stats from high leverage situations is 3 good outings, although one of them was after a two hour rain delay in an empty stadium, and 3 really bad outings, including the bad tigers loss in Detroit, immediately blowing the game right after we tied it against the Astros, and last night. It's a bit disingenuous to say his era is (blank) , when two of those losses were walk offs and he couldn't really run up his era. The game ending with multiple runners on covers up how bad those outings could have been. |
