You're backing Mr. Ed because you're a blind homer ball washing fool, but in this case, you're right about paying a guy that much $$$ with that kind of injury history.

Watson's deal looks like $6 million average for a brokedick. Chiefs are paying Schwartz $6.6 million average and he's one of the best RT's and has never missed a game

If the Broncos had this coaching staff last year they probably would've made a run at Schwartz. Schwartz is a decent RT, not overly athletic or powerful. Just solid. You guys gave him 4 times the guaranteed money that we gave Watson though.

My dream scenario for the Broncos right now would be for Romo to come to Denver, Elway trades Siemian to the Jets for Sheldon Richardson, and we draft one of the top 3 tackles at 20.
Elway signed a couple of NT's yesterday and we already know he's looking for an impact DE after they went after Campbell. |

Geez ever since Manning left, Denver has been going straight for JAG's. Can they not get anyone else?

Richardson is the odd man out for the Jets on the DL and he'll be a free agent next year. Mortenson said that the Jets and Broncos were working on a trade that included Siemian... Siemian will have value because he's cheap and has a couple years left on his contract.

Darian Stewart, Brandon Marshall, Emmanuel Sanders, Chris Harris, and Derek Wolfe were all taken care of before their contract expired. You can expect to see Matt Paradis get taken care of soon as well.
