How a pair of attention whores destroyed any ounce of credibility they ever had

Enjoy. And **** EB.

How a season-long rift between Mahomes and Bieniemy ruined the AFC Championship

That also doesn't make the story true nor false. As anything else you read/receive, take it all with a grain of salt and draw your own conclusions.

I just know I've seen a fugger with NO offensive line put on a performance for the ages the year before. He even nearly completed a pass while laying sideways 30 yards down the field. What I saw 2nd half was someone that lost it for some whatever reason. You could see EB swinging at the air because we didn't get in the EZ that final play. I'm sure he didn't just let it slide and SOMETHING happened at halftime.

Draw your own conclusions!
This pretty much sums up where I'm at. Until I get a real reason for what I still can't believe I saw, my mind is wide open. Very little would surprise me honestly. We may never know.

Again, I think that seriously underestimates Andy Reid's evaluation of EB and the value he brings. I know he's loyal to a fault but I am of the opinion that he would not have come back last season if he couldn't add value in Andy's eyes.

They didn't want to make him the SB loss scape goat because he's black. He was retained in very quiet fashion for one purpose. To help get an HC job and now it's failed again and Andy no longer thinks hen can help him. I don't think he comes back. There is no reason to have him back again. They have done enough for him.

That was last year, though. His value decreases every year he's here and nothing changes. Kind of like Bob Sutton. He fielded top 5 defenses early in his tenure but his value declined as the personnel changed.

This team needs fresh blood, fresh ideas. There's no reason to keep EB around if he can't bring that, not just more of the same.

Another thing that hurts him is the belief that his success is more a product of Reid/Mahomes than him. He need to leave KC and go elsewhere as an OC to prove that he is not a product of those two.

I don't disagree that a fresh voice would be a positive thing. The only disagreement I had with anything you said was that all EB has done is hitch a ride. That might be true, but if it is I have lost some respect for Reid and his desire to put the team and winning above the optics and 1 individuals career goals. I guess I'm more hoping that's not true than asserting that it can't be true.

I've got some mixed feelings about this. I have no idea if the article is true. My gut feeling is, probably some of it is true, and some of it is conjecture.

Many years ago I went through something similar, but not equivalent - to what Clay is going through now when Coach Haley (allegedly as they say in journalism speak) gave me a special salute on Fan Appreciation Day. Many people didn't believe me and said I was making it all up. But I had no reason to lie about it, and like I've always said, I was OK with the exchange. I said what I wanted to say, and he responded with what he wanted to say, and I'm totally OK with all that. What made me mad is when people called me a liar. Ultimately, it could never be proven or disproven because there was no photographic evidence, but as time went by we saw the content of Haley's character, and he was gone within two years.

I think Clay enjoys the spotlight, but that's just Clay, and that's OK. I hope for his sake that the article has some accuracy, and that this isn't 100% BS Fabrication. If you want to be a journalist, you owe it to the subjects in your story to be fair, and to check your facts across multiple sources. Otherwise, it's all just heresay. If you're not credible as a reporter, then you have nothing.

I hope it all turns out OK for all involved. Seems like even today the story has lost quite a bit of steam. Probably the whole thing will be forgotten in a week or two.

Mahones dad is the source

In the “article”. It stated a family member of a high ranking member.

So how many high profile players are there?

10? And on offense?

This kind of limits who it is

Now the source is oissed off. Knowing he was outed.

It was taken down because of “racist” comments. That’s a cop out and lit.

Could be. Thing is, none of us know for sure. In the end I'll go with whatever choice the HOF coach makes. And I know better than to put any stock in anything the OP/Attention Bitch has to say on the matter. He's made it perfectly clear he's in this for the attention.

The equivalent would be closer to you posting a blog about how he flipped you off, then you had insider info he was trying to get you banned from Arrowhead, and how week to week he continued giving you mean looks from the sidelines and is clearly out to get you.

...and then at the end of the article, you say he maybe didn't actually do that.
...and then you bask in the attention for two days, sidestepping questions and focusing on how much attention your story is grabbing, and otherwise giving people several reasons to believe it could all be made up because you clearly had other motives.
...and then you take it down for vague reasons and disappear.

My thought had been, that if the article is true then one thing we know is it has to be somebody who has access to what is said on the headset. Not sure how many people that is. Yeah, the "high ranking" part kinda says it isn't Chad Henne. Certainly wouldn't be Reid or EB.
