I thought the same thing. Looks tasty
I like to sprinkle a little sugar over the top of my goulash

I made some baked chicken thighs. This marinade was quite tasty.
2 Tbsp olive oil 1 Tbsp sesame oil 4 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 2 Tbsp lemon or lime juice 5 Tbsp honey or maple syrup 6 cloves of garlic minced ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper Whisk. Marinate chicken thighs for 2 hours to overnight. Bake everything in a 9x13 pan at 425F for 20-25 minutes. |

Picked up a Pi Day pizza yesterday from Papa Murphys. Baked it today for the start of basketball. Beer flowing, thinking hot wings tonight.
Papa Murphys cheese pizza $3.14 not a bad deal. Didn't even have to go out of my way as its right by the bank. Add fresh sliced jalepeno

I had a good sized breakfast and am just gonna feed myself beer and vodka until it's time for dinner.
Burgers on the grill for the first time this year. I'm sure they'll turn out fine. Gonna throw on some bacon, mayo, onion, spicy mustard and pickles. |

Burgers on the grill. I had to break down and do that a couple weeks ago.
Can't wait for garden tomato. Putting some stuff in the ground this weekend.

Yeah I'm gonna skip tomatoes on the burger until I can get something worth a shit. Nothing worse than throwing a pale, hard shit tomato on a burger and ruining it.

I'm ok with corned beef, but if I'm gonna **** with it, I'm turning it into pastrami. I follow this Katz deli copy cat recipe, and it ends up like sliced meat butter. Freakin amazing. Anyhow, I started today, will smoke Saturday early am, steam saturday eve, and have hot pastrami sammy's saturday night for dinner. Not really as time consuming as it looks, as most of the time is waiting for it to soak or chill.

I need to get access to Costco... still 45 minutes away. Sam's where I live sucks and Costco and Meijer's are both afraid of each other in smaller markets. They both seem to screw up each other's business plans.
My new Mexican grocer is willing to get me whatever I want so I'm going to try him next go round.
