McDuffie in the first 6 games

He allowed 17/31 completions, 25 pass ypg, 0 TDs

Games 7-12

He allowed 22/32 completions, 41 pass ypg, 3 TDs

He's only had one good game during these last 6 games and that was thankfully the Bills and he allowed 1 catch for 1 yard.

Why is Jaylen Watson missing causing him to play so poorly?
It’s not like he’s getting dismantled out there. Guys are just making plays on him and most of the time he’s had good coverage.

He will get it figured out and raise the level of his play and the whole defenses going into the playoffs.

Especially if Watson returns for the real season.

Last year, he played 310 coverage snaps and was targeted 29 times snd allowed 12 receptions for 103 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Josh Williams = Brandon Carr.

Give him his props.

I was optimistic he'd make progress after a pretty decent last season. Hopefully we get much more of the recent form because it'd make a massive difference if we can give McDuffie some time in the slot.

Yeah....the "guys are just making plays" thing doesn't really hold up though.

If the difference in being good or not is guys just making plays against you.....I dunno.

He's the anti-Marcus Peters.

No picks, but also doesn't give hardly anything up. Also a super physical tackler.

It's awesome.

You can gameplan with a guy like Trent. He's going to do exactly what you want to the best of his ability.

Peters was a goddamn nightmare. Zero prediction on what he would do, he'd be incredibly hard to deal with as a coach.
