What are you talking about? I am enjoying the ride. I am excited about Mahomes. I have never said otherwise. I just made a post because I got sick of hearing people continue to bash a quarterback who served his purpose and was traded. I have said over and over that I am thrilled with Mahomes, I was thrilled with the trade. I just wish that dumbasses like SDH and the rest of the haters would let go of their hate or at least leave it out of the Mahomes thread. I come to this thread every day because of my excitement over Mahomes. Yet here we are, still having to listen to the hater bullshit, even though Smith is gone.

Smith's mediocre suck is gone, we gained a player far more talented at his respective position in the trade, and the Chiefs drafted a 1st round QB who by all forecasted accounts should surpass Smith's TD numbers in his first season as a starter.
The only downside is the 5 previous, shitty seasons we had to endure with that coward under Center.
Or as YOU call it, "jerkin' material".

I am sorry if you took my comparison post to Big Daddy as a complete slam on Alex- but the fact is- both of those are true. The last two games I attended at Arrowhead were losses -Because of Alex.

CBM- Chiefs Before Mahomes- was a boring, tedious, squeak by with a win brand of football that sucked. It got old watching receivers run wide open because Alex was trying to protect his QB rating.

Now- anything can happen- Mahomes will risk those throws- interceptions be damned- because he cares about winning more than padding his stats for another big contract. No lead is safe for the other team, don't go take a piss or get a beer, you might miss a huge play. Pretty exciting future!!

The ultra-conservative, take a loss before taking a risky throw that Alex is constantly praised for, is exactly what I hated about him. I hated his pouty attitude when we were behind in a game and inability to rally the Chiefs. He could never put a complete game together. Thank God the Chiefs didn't give him that fat contract, besides a handful of plays a game he is unwatchable. Good riddance and I will never mention his name again.

The Mahomes era has dawned on Arrowhead.

Besides the offseason we signed Montana- there has never been this much excitement about a Chiefs QB.

I waited my whole life for it!!
