Selective stat picking? For two days it's been "Since Elways came along/Since Elway became gm/ Since 1990". How about acknowledging that KC had a Super Bowl win 27 years before Denver and had three championships before that. Football wasn't invented the day Elway pulled his tantrum card and cried that he wouldn't play for Indy, if they drafted him.

Most of you toolboxes have been dogging Elway when he's owned your horribly underachieving franchise in every measureable way for his entire career (player and exec)...

Wrong. Roby IS an outside corner. When Roby comes into the game, Harris goes into the slot and Roby plays the outside corner opposite Talib.

Elway has been widely considered to be one of the best execs in the league during that time period. He's done a masterful job with the Broncos. Maybe when Dorsey wins a super bowl he'll be on Elways level?

The original conversation wasn't about the value of each franchise, idiot. We're not debating historically better franchises. We're debating whether the arrow is pointing up or down for Denver.

And don't give me this, "LOL ONLY THING THAT MATTERZ IS WINZ!!!" bullshit. The topic is your new coaching staff and losing Wade Phillips. We're arguing whether Elway has the GM skills without Peyton Manning to get Denver playing better next year.

Player, yes. GM, not so much. He took over when KC was stuck with Pisshole for a GM. Now that Dorsey has had a couple years, he's going to leave Elway in the rear view mirror.

Btw... **** Elway, Bosworth, Eli and and anyone who whines about who might draft them.

That doesn't make sense to me. If Harris is one of the best CB in the league, why would he move inside?
