****Official 2010 ChiefsPlanet Mock Draft Thread****

Welcome to the 2010 ChiefsPlanet Mock Draft.

We have some new owners this year, so here's a quick run-down on the rules.

Each team will have 24 hours from the timestamp of the previous pick to make their selection. If your pick is not made within 24 hours, the next owner is free to make their selection.

The draft order is now final, with the exception of possible compensatory picks. As in past years, if the NFL announces an official list of compensatory picks BEFORE we finish the 3rd round, I'll add them in. If not, the draft order currently listed will remain. Any trades made in real life will NOT change the mock order from this moment on - personally, it's just too much work, and you run the risk of a pick being traded in real life after it's been made here in the mock.

If you think there is any chance you'll miss your pick, please try to send me a PM with a prioritized list of players - I'll select the highest priority player available from your list to keep things moving.

Please try to check in at least once a day, if not several times daily. We've never had an issue finishing 7 rounds in 6 weeks and I don't expect to have a problem this year - but it's up to you guys as owners to stay current.

When making your selection, please post the name, position and school of the player (follow Hamas' lead, he knows the drill - the correct format helps greatly when updating the header) and give a quick blurb about why you selected that particular player. Doesn't have to be a novel.

I'll be in class from 11:00 - 2:00, but I'll log back in to put Hamas on the clock at Noon.

Have fun fellas.

Oh crap. I had not went back to round 2 for quite a while. All this time I had been thinking you went with Cam Thomas in the 2nd. I'm going to have to drop your grade a little more now.

The Niners have one more hole to fill along their offensive line. They've needed a RT for a while now. Staley isn't a RT and I wasn't going to draft a RT in the 1st round. I see decent value here in the 4th.....so I'm taking my chances with a kid who actually played RT in college.

The San Francisco 49ers select Kyle Calloway, OT, University of Iowa.

LOL, the biggest issue with that pick is that Calloway to me is very similar to Alex Boone who they already have.

LOL, if the Niners don't take an OL in the 1st they won't get one who can play for them based on what they need, that's my view.

But you don't draft a RT in the 1st round. Looking back I probably should have taken Campbell with their second 1st round pick. But I felt that Thomas and Haden would solidify their secondary. Plus you can find OTs later in the draft.

Haden I think was a good pick...should have taken Anthony Davis with your 2nd 1st....could have taken the safety in the 2nd and ILB's you can get them anytime.

I was really hoping Graham was going to last until my 2nd pick. And Anthony Davis is ****ing lazy as shit. I don't want him on my team.

Well this mock broke completely ****ed up because honestly, there ain't no way Anthony Davis is going to make it to the Packers pick, dude is a top 15 pick.

He also isn't that lazy he lost weight, his concerns I think get overblown more than they should.

Anthony Davis tape is all outstanding, frankly it's better than Okung's on the football field he's a top 10 pick, I don't get the lazy rap. Is it because he didn't run a sub 5 or something?

Me neither. I wouldn't have drafted him in the 2nd round personally. I buy the lazy, unmotivated hype and think he's going to bust.

Anthony Davis tape is all outstanding, frankly it's better than Okung's on the football field he's a top 10 pick, I don't get the lazy rap. Is it because he didn't run a sub 5 or something?
It's not his weight, it's his work ethic. I've read all over the place that he doesn't give a shit about football. IMO that's the worst indictment one can get, and the same reason I wouldn't draft Colt McCoy if he was there in the 7th round. I don't think he gives a shit about football either.

The Broncos see a couple QBs that they're confident will last another round.

Who they really love in this spot is ILB Pat Angerer, from Iowa. Tackle-machine, nose for the ball, good in coverage, etc. So this is like the third Iowan in four picks or something.

The Broncos select ILB Pat Angerer, Iowa.

I think that's overblown if he was really that lazy, he wouldn't have lost something like 50lbs or been as good on the field as he's been.

Guys with shit work ethic don't leave college 60lbs lighter than they entered it or turn themselves into top players, his game tape is all oustanding.
