Do you still believe is Mahomes and our coaching staff?

I for one do. We have seen them rise up and shut the critics up enough to not lose faith. It was ugly and surprising for sure but the SB magnifies everything for some reason. Mahomes for sure is no quitter and neither is Veach and Andy. We will recover and be right back in the AFCCG for another shot.

We could always go back to no playoff wins in 30 years.

This season ultimately ended the same way all those did: no ring.

We have one of the absolute best QBs in the history of the sport. He's not going to play forever. We could be back in the era of no playoff wins before we know it. So when you get to the position where you have a shot at the only 3peat ever and a shot at only being two Lombardis shy of becoming the most decorated team in NFL history, all the "I'm just happy to be here. I just hope they had fun. Good try, Andy!" stuff is over.

I didn't say Andy should be fired. But he shit on the carpet again and he should have his face rubbed into the mess until he learns to stop.

Since Mahomes has started they haven't missed a single AFC championship game. They've won 3 Super Bowls in 6 years.

Everything else is the whining of a spoiled fan base.

Bringing in a guy like Jon Gruden as an “offensive analyst/consultant” might be the best compromise if Andy is not going to shake up his offensive coaching staff.

Similar to Chris Ault and Brad Childress earlier during Andy’s tenure in KC.

This isn't just lip service to appease fans because they choked - like the 90's.

KC has been in 5 of the last 6 SB's and won 3 of them. Over the past 6 years Mahomes wins the SB 50% of the time. There is no team in the NFL who's even close to that level of succes.

KC has owned football this decade. Owned it...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I still believe in Mahomes and Reid.. I just worry sometime that Andy's ego can be a detriment.

It's like he refused to concede that Fangio's defense was taking away everything he thought would work. If he had accepted that and adapted or adjusted, maybe the outcome would've been different or, at the very least, less demoralizing.

I feel that's a major flaw with Andy Reid. He's so used to winning that he doesn't realize when he's beaten until it's too late.

Part of the problem was that Fangio's D didn't take away everything. In the play the obvious answer for the offense was there and time after time Pat didn't choose it or wasn't accurate. That's unbelievably rare - and I have no idea why. Multiple people, including Daniel who use to play in this offense, have stated that the obvious answers within the play were there and Pat didn't throw them the ball.

Sure, part of that is the ass O line play but the biggest part was Pat's performance. At some point Andy needed to run the football and he didn't. It's not about gaining yards - it's about Pat not getting killed and the o line not having to play the whole game pass blocking. It doesn't matter if you average 1 yard a run any more than it mattered that the Eagles couldn't get squat running. You can't just let a great pass rush T off on the QB.

I think Reid needs to find younger college guys with newer ideas from the current college game.

Andy knows how to run anything WCO that Gruden can do with his eyes closed.

I was hoping that Naggy might move on and Gruden might come here and rehab his image a bit. Gruden isn't afraid to run the football and that kind of influence might actually be a good thing for Andy.

Running for 1.5ypc does matter. If you can't run them out of their pass defense and you're constantly in 3rd and long, that makes it Infinitely harder on the passing game.

There wasn't any reason to run the ball. It wasn't going to help. It needs serious attention in the off-season.
