Watkins/Hardman/Robinson/Pringle: 5 catches, 31 yards

Total no show tonight by the non-Kelce/Tyreek pass catching options.

Add WR depth to the list of needs this offseason, right up there with offensive line IMO.

The streaker ran better patterns than Watkins did last night. Bring him in for a look.

Veach has a lot of work to do this offseason. OL, DE, LB, WR.

Dump Clark, Watkins, Robinson, Niemann. Draft to replace, and use FA to fill immediate gaps. First priority has to be protecting Mahomes...fix the OL! With Fisher, Schwartz, and LDT returning, we should be able to shore up the line in short order. Maybe move Jones to DE? Jones + KPass with Nnadi + Pennell stuffing the middle? LB has been a shit show for years; might as well scrap that entire crew from coaches down and try something new there? Interesting offseason, for sure
Agree to all except is Schwartz coming back for sure?

William Layton Roaf (nickname, "Nasty") played for awhile on bad wheels. Sports medicine is worlds better now than when Roaf played. Maybe Fisher can return, who knows?

It's becoming apparent to me that he probably is never going to take the next step.

Still holding out hope but it needs to happen next season and it needs to happen in a big way.
He seems to be following the DRob career path......

That only works if you can get to the QB with 4.

Our wrs are overrated. Get past Hill and Kelce and theres not much. Hardman is fast but not much else. Robinson has crazy legs and doesn't know how to turn up field and carry a football. These didnt step up.

One thing I'll say about this Andy Reid/3 year thing.... If it takes your guys 3 effing years to figure out the offense, you're playing with fire. You're better off drafting OL and D early if that's the case. Use FA and late rounds for WR's and hope you can find some guys that hang on like Pringle and figure out the offense.

I am not sure I believe it is true. It could just be a way to cover for draft picks like Hardman and others who never take off.

Going forward, we're going to have to pay Mahomes. We will need some vet WR's that can come in one 1 year deals and make an impact.

Need to address the OL and #2 WR first. Hardman isn't it... draft seems to be deep at WR and lineman.
Probably LB and edge but not sure you get a good one after the 1st and 2nd round.

Also that punter was absolute trash...hope he figures it out.

Problem with last night was that Mahomes never got to his 3rd or 4th read. He had time to look for TH OR TK then run for his life, not even look for TH AND TK.

Even when Mahomes created windows of time for himself, nobody was ****ing open. Neither Hardman, nor Robinson, nor Pringle can get open.

It's hard for WR to catch the ball when all your QB can do is throw it up and hope for a miracle catch every down

These guys are never the first read. Hill, Kelce, or RB are the first reads on almost every pass play. Our line meant that Mahomes never had time to go trough progressions. That's the biggest reason these guys were irrelevant.

Somewhat true, but Hardman usually stops running or screws up his route even when Mahomes does target him.

D-rob drops a lot of passes.

Your #3/4 guys need to be solid and at least make grabs when they are targeted. These guys are no shows usually.
