Who should be re-signed?

We have a huge list of players set to be UFA after this season. I know it’s only the halfway point, but it’s not too early to start the conversation.

We’re slated to have 24m in estimated cap space according to overthecap and currently have around 23m to rollover from this season. So, unless I’m way off (which is possible, I’m just adding up our current cap space and next years estimated taken from OTC), will have close to 47m in space before doing anything with Sammy Watkins. If we choose to cut Watkins, that adds another 14m in cap space.

Chad Henne
Xavier Williams
Lesean McCoy
Darron Lee
Jordan Lucas
Morris Claiborne
Bashaud Breeland
Emmanuel Ogbah
Chris Jones
Reggie Ragland
Matt Moore
Kendall Fuller
Anthony Sherman
Stefan Wisnewski

So far, Ogbah, Jones, Breeland and Ragland have probably all earned reasonable FA deals unless Veach thinks upgrades can be had at similar cost.

Nate Taylor will have an article coming out in the next month or so explaining the dynamics of how Veach/Reid work together.

What’s that say about Beach?

Why not sign guys that run our scheme? Of course that’s went to hell. Or Ceach knew all along they were switching to 4-3.
Isn’t that what happened with K. Bell, 3-4 to a 4-3?

Listen guys, I HAVE NO idea what it’s like, sans one year in grade school, but if you’re an elite, above average athlete....is it that hard to transition?
They had to have played in all sorts of formations up to this point.
Hell I don’t know, lol.

I cant believe there are reeruned mother ****ers that believe this D is better without Jones. KC is filled with reeruns though, so it shouldn't be so unbelievable.

I thought it was pretty interesting in Sunday night's game the announcers were telling the story about when QB Chad Henne went down with injury, Andy Reid got on the phone with Matt Moore and convinced him to come play with Chiefs. That might just be the friendship that Andy had with Matt, but that seemed like a Brett Veach duty.

I'd bring back everyone but Henne, Lee, and Williams if possible.

No more $100 million contracts except for Mahomes. Accumulate draft picks. If Chris Jones blows out a knee, we are screwed for years. Look at Clark's neck injury. That could be serious and jeopardize his career. Enough. Go the Patriot way. Protect Mahomes. Build through the draft.

(I'm on the fence with Jones right now. If your name isnt Aaron Donald then I have a hard time paying 21+ million a year.)

Chris Jones has 1 great year of production. He’s missed 3 games this year and is on pace for 4 sacks.

If he wants Frank Clark money, then he can **** off and get traded for picks.
