Spending the weekend in Vegas for my boy's bachelor party. I'm positive that we will have no problems finding trouble, but figured I'd come here and listen to suggestions. Best places to eat, watch the games, best bargains, strip clubs, etc. We're all big fans of sports, and titties, so probably be posted up watching/betting on games by day, and partying/looking for strange by night. What ya got CP?

I had a relative stay at the Nugget right after the remodel. They loved it, and highly recommended it.

Defintely look into the Nugget, or see what the Plaza has going on. They just remodeled and it looks damn good.

Thanks Carlota. Nugget does look good and reasonable. Checked the reviews for the Plaza on tripadvisor and they pretty much say the place is looking good but the renovations are not finished. One recent review said give it another 6 months to complete. Rates were real good at the Plaza...probably due to construction.

Im sure due to construction. Golden Nugget has a pretty nice pool too. Just make sure you ask for a room away from Fremont street. It can get loud.

doesn't bother me you can point with your efinger all you want. You have no idea how I acquired the points to earn a comped suite let alone rooms. You can just assume I'm a high roller which is awesome, but not the case.

If you truly want to know I had won a large amount one time and used that to start a Vegas fund for every time I go. I have built my points to earn free rooms. I am a coupon dealin wheelin kind of guy and use my resources to stretch my money as far as I can go. If I win with money on current trips I use that for spending instead of dipping in what I brought. I don't spend more than I got, but I started a players club membership at all resorts so over time I can build points to get free rooms that eventually land you comped suites.

BMJ bashing aside, upstairs from Hugo's is Magnolia's. For those that like steak and eggs for breakfast, you should try it as well. No special price, just a really good meal done the way I like it.

Also interesting to hear the comments about the strip vs downtown. I so prefer the downtown atmosphere but to each their own. I play a lot of blackjack and me and the wife end up at the Gate(where the girls dance on the center table). Fun environment.
