VARSITY
*** Official Jets vs Bills MNF Thread ***

Bills are getting -2. Genuinely excited to watch this game. After the craziest level of offseason hype I've ever seen a team receive, we finally get to see what the new-look Jets can do.

Who wins?

Just curious how many more games Allen and Buffalo can play like this before Diggs fully melts down.

Not necessarily. I think a few months spent in total darkness should speed up the recovery process. Could be back in time for the playoffs after Zach Wilson takes the Jets to 5-12.

All of the packers fans are hysterical. They think this is beautiful. It's like a holiday and a celebration. Animals.

So I have no animosity against Rodgers, wanted to see what he would do with another team that gave him the weapons he wanted, and this isn't funny... but it kinda is.

Gets traded.
Rebuilds his image in the public eye throughout the offseason.
Gets healthier.
Takes a paycut this season to allow for better weapons to be acquired.
Brings in Allen Lazard and other FAs.
Everyone has them pegged as Super Bowl contenders because they so badly want a NY team to be relevant again and they know Daniel Jones won't get them that.
MONTHS of endless hype, Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson vouching hard for their new boy.
Gets the fanbase back to their Mark Sanchez butt-fumble days of obnoxiousness.
Make Mike Greenberg and Rich Eisen splooge endlessly over them.
On Hard Knocks to show a better side of himself and getting the public rooting for them.
CARRIES THE US FLAG OUT ON 9/11 TO LEAD HIS TEAM INTO BATTLE

Out for the season in four snaps.

It's not funny, but its kinda funny and the worst possible luck one player can have outside of death or being incapacitated medically. Such a grand build up, such a momentous fail, I could see this happening to the Browns, Chargers, Bengals if Burrow and that team crash and burn, those fanbases are worthy of such a terrible fate as has been in their DNA from their beginnings.

Looks like ticket prices for the Chiefs v. Jets are going to drop dramatically.

Mecole Hardman reunion game.

Maybe he’ll actually get to see the field for the Jets.

Hackett was OC for the Jaguars in 2017 when they went to the AFC Championship Game with Blake Bortles at QB.

This Jets team is just as talented as that Jaguars team was... probably more so on offense... so if Hackett can game manage Zach Wilson like he did Bortles, maybe the Jets can still make a run.
