The vast majority of plays you have Mahomes hitting Kelce or Hill within his first 2 reads, throwing a screen pass, or getting it out quick in the flats to a RB. There just isn’t much pie to go around for a guy like Watkins.

That said, if you’re getting a lot of 2-high coverage Sunday, I’d look his way often because they don’t have a corner who can cover him consistently and win in contested situations. It’d be nice to scare BAL/TENN with Watkins this week so they might think twice about doubling Hill all the time..
Agreed.

Seems like intermediate passing plays to WR's in general (even including Tyreek) are not being utilized enough in this year's offense.

Especially if opposing defenses are taking away the deep passing game, get the ball more consistently to Tyreek, Hardman, Watkins, etc. on short passes in open space.

Local Houston media is talking all kinds of noise saying the Chiefs dont respect the Texans and they're looking past them. They're playing the "No Respect" card pretty hard. Bill Maas was on Sports Talk 610am this afternoon, and the local guys were trying to bait him into saying as much. He didn't bite. He said maybe they (National Media & Houston Media) feel that way, but the players know they have a tough opponent coming to town Sunday and will have to play their best to win. He picked the CHIEFS to win, but said it will be hard earned. Said out of the players who missed last game that Chris Jones would have the biggest impact.

Pretty sure this team isn’t looking past anybody after that Titans game. It’s one game at a time until the offseason.

This.

The Chiefs have gone undefeated since the Titans game, and in every "tarp game" (int. CP misspelling) the Chiefs have dominated.

The Chiefs aren't looking past anyone. Something I've talked about in other threads over the last month, so i won't go into it again here, but bottom line, they are not that kind of team anymore.

Ed Bouchette (Stealers beat writer for Pitt Post-Gazette) was on 93.7 The Fan today. He picked the Chiefs without hesitation. Said the Texans should've lost their last game and couldn't beat KC, with a conviction and certitude that surprised me coming from such a straight-shooter. Made the rest of the work day go better!

This could be part of what's holding sammy back, but what about when hill was out and sammy was our number 1 for a few weeks? I think there's a problem with sammy, whether it be lack of focus or giving up on plays or something, that holds him back. We all know he has all the potential in the world to be a great WR, but for some reason he can't get it done.

I was listening on my way home from work. Said our rosters were basically comparable and our defense is only ranked higher because of our “weak” schedule.

Texans radio guys were quivering in fear over Hardman and Hill about 30 minutes ago on 610.
