They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Go into next season with Boyd, Rice, Pickens and Kelce.

Profit.
What about Skyy Moore? Do you think the Chiefs will admit he's a bad pick and cut him?

Throw him in on the Pickens deal, so the two can be further intertwined.

I think so also. Veach has proven time and again, when he sees a weakness, he goes all in to try and fix it.

Would you rather have Skyy Moore or Pickens?

I think this is the biggest difference from last season. Rice looks a lot like JuJu out there to me, but last year McKinnon was our #3 pass catcher and we're having trouble recreating that production elsewhere.

I don't believe Rice to be a good route runner yet. Seems like 85% of his volume is on short throws and he just gets the YAC.

Well he would have to RUN a ROUTE to determine this and considering they don't have him doing that....

Agreed. Guy is a mega diva receiver in only his second year. Tyreek wanted the ball more. This guy seems way worse.

JuJu is a gritty ****-you type of receiver...He'll move the chains by hook or crook. Losing that from this offense left a massive gaping flesh wound and it can't easily be patched with Rookies or their XFL midget. I'm hopeful that by next year Rice is going to have that level of tenacity and comfort in the offense.

I can totally see that and that really makes me question not making any moves to offset that production considering his 2022 production would have been hard to replicate even if he stayed healthy.

McKinnon had 10 total TDs last year and Kelce had 12, we're likely not going to come close to that combined production. Factor in all of the penalties on offense, drops, miscommunication, etc. and it's no surprise the offense has significantly regressed.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to know whether he is a good route runner or not, but if he's still a work in progress there then good luck to anyone expecting a 2024 rookie to come in and significantly change the offense early on. There's a very real possibility this offense continues to struggle next year unless they add a decent vet as well at a minimum.

Every time I watch Pickens I SEE A RECEIVER. I see a real NFL route runner that catches whatever is thrown his way and doesn't have to be gently coaxed into the NFL. And the numbers back it up. Is he a princess and a bitch? Sure. But this is football and receivers are paid to make plays and not run for the city town mayor.

You are correct sir. Once he improves, he'll have the size to do many things. Skyy, on the other hand, is no such animal.
