Have not liked Russini since she gauranteed that we were getting a 1st for Sneed.
This sounds stupid. Why would you have him test anything on the field? You’ll know exactly where you stand after the scope is done on Monday. Good grief.

He would have been ruled out already via the MRI and second opinions if things were that bad. Plus he wouldn't be walking around locker rooms infront of media guys either.

"Injured ligaments are considered sprains and are graded on a severity scale. Grade 1 Sprains. The ligament is mildly damaged in a Grade 1 sprain. It has been slightly stretched but is still able to help keep the knee joint stable. Grade 2 Sprains. A Grade 2 sprain stretches the ligament to the point where it becomes loose. This is often referred to as a partial tear of the ligament. Grade 3 Sprains. This type of sprain is most commonly referred to as a complete tear of the ligament. The ligament has been torn in half or pulled directly off the bone, and the knee joint is unstable. Partial tears of the anterior cruciate ligament are rare; most ACL injuries are complete or near complete tears." From: https://orthoinfo.aaos.org/en/diseas...the%20ligament. |

It actually makes a lot of sense. I believe the criminal case is scheduled for sometime in June and he's taking an L on that one way or another. Well if he's going to have to miss near a year anyway it would make sense to speed up the legal process.

Couple years ago Von Miller went through this very same thing and had the same scope that found out he tore his ACL. In fact he’s from Texas and I’m pretty sure he went to Dallas for the scope. Might be the same Dr Rashee is going to

With Vonn they were saying it was a partial ACL at first and he said he would need a brace but wanted to play. But with Rashee reports are saying it could be PCL, MCL, LCL. It's not just an ACL thing.

Sweeney said it before Albert and said his source said they will be looking to see IF there is any damage to the pcl, mcl and lcl. So why not believe him? And Diana is no different to Albert imo. The fact that her source said he will test the knee on a field suggests the mri and second opinion came back clean.

Hey I hope she's right, just kinda odd that she's the only one with that info so far (the on-field testing)

You and what's his nuts keep narrowing down to just the acl. If you want to only consider that you both are correct. Acls almost always are full tears and mris are virtually flawless looking for single tears in the knee. When possiblity of multiple ligament tears in the knee the results are much less accurate. They are clearly worried about damage to multiple tissues which is why they aren't relying on the initial mris and waiting for swelling to go down. |
