Also, what stud rookie OT did the Chiefs pass on at 31?
The Jags literally upgraded their RT with a rookie whilst we paid their castaway RT Taylor $80m. And before you say it, yes I'm aware the Jags were 4 places higher than us. Still coulda and shoulda got him in retrospect.

PS on Laporta I just googled mock draft 2023 and the first one I saw that wasn't just a first round draft had Laporta at 51 and FAU at 54. The idea that it's absolutely wild to have thought this kid could (and should have) go at 31 when he was in fact drafted at 34 is ****ing stupid.

Ps. staylor26 you are/were one of Skyy Moore's biggest homers so I really don't give a flying **** about your opinion on anything anyway, yet alone draft evaluations.

Again, talking completely out of your ass. Anton Harrison hasn't been good at all, more or less an upgrade from Jawaan Taylor. Their OL struggles a big reason for their offensive collapse this season. You are literally just making shit up for your narrative.

Of course in hindsight LaPorta would've been a great pick. It's also still way too ****ing early to declare him a better one than FAU. That's like the morons that crowned Watson while Mahomes was on the bench.

The point is that absolutely nobody had LaPorta going in the 1st. I don't give a single **** about the one mock you found. Throughout the process, FAU was considered a possible 1st round pick. Not you or anybody else banged the table for LaPorta in the 1st, and it's all ****ing pointless because there's no chance the Chiefs were ever taking him there. Him going 3 picks later, when nobody really saw that coming either, doesn't change that.

Wrong about Skyy, among others.

Right about Sneed, Jones, Kelce, Mahomes, Karlaftis, McDuffie, etc.

What have you ever been right about?

Since CP has become Absolutely Ridiculous Exaggeration Planet, I feel like I need to come clean.

You see, for a few years now, I've been severely exaggerating something.

No, not that!

See, I've been saying that Andrew Wylie blows goats.

And that I have proof.

And that, friends, is untrue. I've been exaggerating.

He sucks. He's terrible.

but he probably doesn't ACTUALLY blow goats.

I exaggerated, see? Just like a bunch of you guys.

(I'm sure he's a great guy, though. He seems nice.)

Peter Schraeger isn't even a ****ing draft guy dipshit. And congratulations you found one mock out of a million that had LaPorta going in the 1st and it was a guy who does predictive mocks based on what he hears.

All you've proven is that people should've been paying attention to Schrager's odd placement of LaPorta in there, and LaPorta going as high as 34 shouldn't have been the surprise that it was.

But congratulations on your needle in a haystack that doesn't change the fact that you're 100% operating in hindsight and talking out of your ass about what the Chiefs should've done.

Where's your post before the draft banging the table for him? Just kidding, you've already made it very clear that you aren't even going to pretend that you aren't playing Captain ****ing hindsight

Needle in a haystack eh? Just one of the most well known (and connected) mock draft analysts doing his final mock draft on the actual day of the draft. Yeah. Needle in a haystack, if that haystack contained 5 hay straws.

Ps. I never said FAU wasn't going to be a good of a player as Laporta. Unfortunately you don't seem to be able to read properly.

You make a great ****ing point actually. Not only was it a needle in a haystack, it's literally a draft day mock with somebody that was probably told that LaPorta was going to be a surprise top 40 pick, so he put him at the back end of the 1st to look smart.

I know you are absolutely clueless, but there's a process that lasts several months and LaPorta was never seen as a possible 1st round pick in that process. That's the point, and your draft day mock from a guy with legitimate sources doesn't change that.

The fact that that was the best you can find speaks volumes to my point.

Wow. I think you might be onto something here. The fact that the mock drafts are based on what the analysts are hearing from teams. Too bad it's only isolated to the one pick that you're getting your knickers in a twist about. Definitely not any of the others. No no no. That's all based on months and months of data mining and scouting research.

**** me.

Me: Let's pick a guy in the first round who will fill a position in need. That would be good in the next draft.

Skyy Moore gang: HAHAHAHA idiot. Captain hindsight. Who would you have got?

Me: Well a TE and OT would have been nice and would have been more useful. Here's the TE and OT that went closest to 31.

Skyy Moore gang: HAHAHAHA idiot. Captain Hindsight.
