Chiefs get all the calls! Its rigged!

You show them data does not support that and KC is actually more penalized than most teams.

Then they say its all about WHEN they get the penalties which always help them get a big first down at the end of the game etc....

You ask when that scenario happened on Saturday, the most recent game they are all crying about.

And all you get back is ^%$!&#%~@*&$#^%&$^!!
Spot on it's just endless mental gymnastics with these people.

Actually where you end up is Troy Aikman's eyes say so.

Which, imagine trying to base your argument on his puffy, swollen hungover eye test

Most of them are saying "my eyes" say so.

This is the world we live in. Ever here somebody say "my truth" or "your truth"? Yeah, we live in a post-modern society where truth is relative to the individual. There is no actual truth.

The reason arguing with those complaining about penalties is ultimately pointless is that if on the unnecessary roughness the defender didn’t miss his target of Mahomes head and slammed it into the ground people would just say you can’t call that in a big game or say he deserves it.

I know this because we’ve seen it multiple times. Doesn’t matter how legitimate a penalty is, they will complain, and then just file it into the bucket of favorable Chiefs calls that shouldn’t have been a penalty.

It's pointless to engage these critics. Virtually none of them are arguing in good faith. Most are either straight-up trolls, or are engagement farming. By replying to them, you're giving them what they crave. It's like pouring gasoline on the Southern California fires.

Ignore them.

The funny thing is that most of the "common folk" are commenting on clickbait articles created by AI. Most of these stories are completely fabricated but because they confirm their bias, they believe them.

I mean, Bengals fans were convinced Zac Taylor was going to SUE Andy Reid for throwing the Denver game.

This 100%

After that game is when this all started. People at my work that don't even watch football think the refs are why the Chiefs are winning.

They don't watch the games but their mind has been made up since that moment.

I'm convinced Fox had the better camera angle too, and didn't show it because that would ruin the drama that Olsen was creating.

Just like now how any bad call that goes the Chiefs way gets talked about ad nauseum. But the terrible call on Trey Smith or the terrible non-call on Justin Reid on the last FG get completely ignored.

it's so bad that any time any other QB gets hit or a non-call, the memes fly our about "If this was Mahomes it would've been 15 yards and an eviction"

Mike Perrera shut Olsen down right away and said a better angle shows the Eagles DB grabbing on the jersey...

To which Olsen replied (paraphrasing), "I don't know. You can't make that call at that point in the game".
