Nix is going to be a problem for Donk fans...when they realize this year was an anomoly.

They want him to be so much better than Wilson...but last season, Moobs had a better completion %, YPA, TDs, INTs and rating...Nix just has less sacks and got to play a lot of bad teams/MASH units...with a much improved defense.

The difference is that he will be on a rookie contract for four years. Denver will get more talent around him. He is definitely better than everyone thought. He is also being carried by the defense.

Yes, he must play with a bad defense to show his true potential.

5 INTs in the past two weeks...with the post-season in play isn't what you want to see. The ones against the Colts were awful...and in his most meaningful game as a pro.

Like I've said...next year will determine if the Donks finally got their perennial .500 QB of the future or not. They wont get a constant stream of injured teams and bottom feeders.

How he plays these next 3 weeks will tell you something...

In a way, he does. Right now he's playing with training wheels on. Everything is short and quick for him and they can do that because they can count on the defense. How is he going to perform if has to play with the kind of defense Mahomes had in 2018?

Is a different offense that plays better. I don’t care about stats comparisons between an offense led by a rookie vs what they had in year 2 of a 12 year veteran. Essentially, that’s the comparison. And they have more wins at this point than they did a year ago. There is a different confidence with this team.

Nah, they just have a better defense .
That's it.

To whatever extent there's good news to come out of Bonitto turning into a demon, it's that at least he broke out BEFORE he was extension eligible.

Seeing him sign a deal for Danna money and then turn into this absolute game-wrecker would just be annoying as hell.

As it is, they'll likely have to pay him premier Edge money as soon as next season to retain him. So they've burned the value in his rookie deal on seasons that are mostly irrelevant.

I honestly don't see the physical tools in Nix to ever play much differently than he's played this season.

He's never going to be someone that should be powering balls into tight windows 15-20 yards downfield. He's never going to have the precision that Brees had that allowed him to be a razor sharp downfield passer.

He's going to be a JAG who relies on scheme and game script to excel.

He's almost a best case scenario for us. He's Alex Smith when he grows up. That works for me.
