The whole problem this team has is solely due to injuries. It doesn’t make sense imo

Mind bottling, isn’t?

YMMV.

The original topic line was why 1sts are all that important when you’re going for a 3peat.

Not against trading our 1st round pick but it better goddamn get us somebody who will play for a little longer than the time Kupp has left in this league

The reoccurring ankle injuries give you pause for sure.

I wouldn’t be a hard yes or no on anything either Kupp.

I don’t think it is smart to dismiss it out of hand or say to do it no matter what. With his injury history, and deal is probably going to involve/include conditional picks based on playing time or performance milestones.

Yah, I can agree with that. Though, I've never been as risk-averse about draft picks as most. Not as reckless as the Rams have been in the recent past, but somewhere in the middle I guess.

For the threepeat I'd be willing to gamble a little more than usual. Even trading our 1st isn't outside the lines in my book. But like you say, for the right guy, and Kupp isn't the right guy, imo.

Skyy Moore was a second round pick. Think that they would trade straight up? Lol

Nobody wants Skyy Moore. Not even if he was free and came with an extra roster spot. Like a handful of other receivers, he is only employable by the Chiefs.

DRob has basically the same stat lines as Worthy. And to date he's outplayed all of our other 'WRs.' In fact, you could take JJSS'/Hardman's stats and combine them, and DRob has 1 more yd and the same number of TDs.

So what you're saying is JJSS/Hardman are absolute ass.

2nd round pick is basically Skyy Moore or the shit LT (Sumo?) we took this year…

I would do it in a heartbeat

Veach just needs volume to draft with.. he don’t need no stinking 2nd rounder

If the Chiefs got Kupp, and if he could manage to stay healthy for the season, it would probably be over for the rest of the league.

A 2nd is also Rashee Rice, Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Creed Humphrey, Willie Gay. Heck guys like Travis Kelce, Kareem Hunt, L'Jarius Sneed, Tyreek Hill, Justin Houston were taken after the 2nd round. So there is another side to that coin.

I'm not saying they shouldn't trade picks for proven veterans. Especially when we desperately need someone at WR. Just that picks can turn out to be great players too. And they're cheap for a few seasons.
