Packers did well with this trade. Played hardball until the very end and made a difficult GM like Joe Douglas give leeway. Rodgers doesn't have a whole left to give and he might even retire after the season. Desperation move by the Jets to go all in for a run. Seems logical on paper but let's see how it works out on the field.
Remember, Fraudgers had an equally stacked team playing in a lesser conference and chocked like a outstanding citizen at home to the whiners.

Now GB can use those picks to move up to #2 or 3 for a QB. How fun would that be? Jordan Love never starts a game hahaha.

If I were Green Bay, I would hope love sucks and we can get a top pick next year. Salary cap is not great this year for them.

And the “Jets to the SB” nonsense has begun. These clowns might not make it out of the AFC East. Gonna be fun watching them fail.

Rogers is all about drama. A team can live with it if he is playing awesome but given last year and his attitude not sure what else the Packers could do but move on and give Love a chance. He talked retirement 2 years ago. They break the bank in keeping him and think they have a long term deal.

No real talk about a discount but rather pay me market plus. Think they had the problem resolved. he really makes no effort to work with the rookie WR at any point prior to the start of the season.

Then starts in with I am retiring again. Instead of giving them an answer he ghosts them and goes to a total blackout retreat... You have to make roster decisions, trying to resign guys....he leaves the team hanging.

This has been a toxic relationship for a long time. They had to move on.

Per ESPN, Rodgers was seen practicing with some of his teammates today.

Time will tell, but NYJ is just flat out a better team than GB right now. In GB, Rodgers had to carry the team. In NY, the team can actually carry Rodgers to a certain extent. He's not going to be required to have a top-3 QB performance just to make the playoffs for maybe the first time in his career. Just an average-for-Rodgers type of season and NYJ will make the playoffs.
