AFC West schedule comparisons
Interesting things to think about....

Chargers have 2 games left against under .500 teams
Broncos have 3 games left against under .500 teams (+1 against Buffalo)
Chiefs have 4 games games left against under .500 teams (+1 against Buffalo)

Crazy thing is, the Titans are the only team the Chiefs have played so far that is under .500. If Denver wins today (and they probably will), that means the Chiefs have played 4 out of 6 games against teams that are 5-2. That's nuts to think the Chiefs are 3-3 right now, especially given the string of bad luck they've had.

The AFC is pretty weak compared to the NFC, but there's no telling what will happen over the next ten weeks.

The we'll likely be fighting it out with either Baltimore or Cinci and San Diego. All three of those teams have a pretty significant leg up on us at this point so we've got to make up some ground. No more faltering. We need to win the games we should win and steal another one or two while we're at it.

10-6 is still no guarantee. I'm afraid 9-7 may not do the trick either.

The good news is we've actually looked pretty decent.

We just took it to SD in their own house. Having them week 17 could be a win-and-you're-in situation @KC. Home field could favor us.

We ALWAYS play the Steelers tough and they're not even good this year. There's a good chance they have nothing to play for by the time we get a crack at them.

The Seahawks are sucking it up and we've got them in KC. That's one we'll need to steal because, although I think the Hawks are a better team, I don't think we'll be able to get a W I'm ARZ.

Denver is a loss. We can't beat Peyton. Just mark that as an L already.

****ing Buffalo. We'd better beat those guys but we struggle with them in years they go 3-13, now they're 4-3 with a capable QB. Their defensive line will rape us; I'm expecting to give up about 5 or 6 sacks that day. Good news is: Spiller will be out and Fred Jackson is banged up.

Two games against the Raiders Lets get those Ws.

The Rams and Jets the next two weeks? We have absolutely no reason not to win those two and be sitting at 5-3 by the holidays.

I think we all figured 6-10 on the year back in August, didn't we? (Especially after all the injuries) I think that if they play like they did yesterday, 9-7 could be doable. 8-8 more likely, 7-9 or 6-10 a definite possibility. Things need to align just right for a WC game but I'm not very hopeful.

Historically the Chiefs play awfully in Miami as well. We beat them. Maybe a W against the Bills isn't out of the question. Especially now since they don't have the cheap bastard Stevie Johnson.
