I have no clue why he's getting snaps. Literally everything he does except have great hair, I like Perine better. I dunno, does Steele do punt coverage? Maybe punt coverage.
I think Perine should be shouldering some of the load from Hunt too. Maybe I'm just too high on Perine, but I don't think I'm too low on Steele. Doesn't catch the ball especially well, isn't fast, and doesn't run any harder than Perine, just does so with less vision. |

I’ve talked about this for years. It’s like we’re using regular season games to scout players.
His inability to pick up pass protection should have been evident in scrimmages |

Hopefully with Pacheco back on Sunday this Carson Steele experiment will end.

I’d send him to the practice squad and roll with Clyde as RB4.

I'm glad we've got CEH on the roster for...reasons?

Watch Trey Smith! He is destroying his man all the way to the end of the clip. In fact he was doing it all game, so much so that the refs finally had to call unnecessary roughness. lol |

I see why Reid likes Steele so much; it's his versatility. He can play both backfield positions, return kicks, and play special teams, and plays them all with a full head of steam. That's a nice player to try and develop, but so far I haven't seen any flashes that he can be really good at any of those roles.
He's a jack of all trades, and we all know how much Andy and Toub love those guys. I don't think this dude is going anywhere for a while, might as well get used to it. |

No more so than I can, anyway. He's not a jack of all trades - he's simply sub-standard at every single thing we ask him to do. It's pretty ridiculous that this guy is on the roster at this point. He doesn't know what he's doing and blows up 2-3 plays seemingly every single game.
