Chiefs will need to adjust and figure this out

Another OL tweet but it’s interesting. Notice anything the Bills did?

A lot of times, including the last play of the game, they had 2 DL on one side of the OL crash hard and bull rush the G and T. They see Mahomes flushing out constantly. They crash the OL and flush Mahomes out the way they want and have a LB spy fly to that zone they force Mahomes to go to so he’s got instant pressure in his face.

This also cuts off half of the field. Chargers did this in week 2 and Mahomes struggled badly against it. Bills copied that from Harbaugh and I expect other teams to do the same.

And if you buy an LT, you have Morris who can play OG pretty easily, IMO. It's where he should really end up either way.

But yeah, I think Nourzad is going to be someone they hope can take that job as soon as next season and if they aren't confident that he can, he'll sit another year with Morris taking the job and potentially another mid-round pick brought in to backfill for Thuney the following year.

I just can't see a world where re-signing Trey Smith makes any sense.

Now just figure out where you can get a LT worth a damn.

That or Morris grows into a decent enough swing tackle with all the work he's getting this season, either way we can find a spot for him here

But oh yeah Trey is gone daddy gone, we can't keep' em all

With any luck, some shitball team drafting high in the first gets a guy they love... and parts ways with the established vet they have

Hell of a catch by Worthy on play #4. Good sign.

Also for being such a shitty QB, on rewatch Mahomes made some pretty good plays.

That's just the thing. If they're ejecting a vet in favor of a draftee, that vet is likely declining or injury prone.

While they can do what you want, it seems like that would be a continuation of what they've been doing since Fisher retired.

Again, you're always going to be 90% right viewing it that way... there are usually good reasons teams ditch the vet in favor of the kid

But every once in a blue moon you get a "Silverdick" situation, the Niners have gotten five good years out of him... what I wouldn't give for five years of stability at LT

I'm dreaming and I know it, but the washout rate for rookie LT's is only eclipsed by that of hotshot rookie QBs... a proven youngish vet would be just what the Dr ordered

Jawaan got a shit deal Sunday. These DL know he’s had trouble with penalties and bait officials. This was in no way a hold by him.

Fans really are "what have you done for me lately"

I wouldn't care if Pat turned into the shittiest QB ever for the next 5 years. He gave us the time of our lives as Chiefs fans. That's not going to happen, I'm just saying if it did.

Yeah I’m with you there. I think Wanya is an ideal RG. Kingsley can work on being the swing tackle and Nourzad is the next Allegretti.

I think paying Trey that kind of coin is not worth it. Extend Thuney and draft another kid in the mid rounds for insurance.

They are 100% extending Bolton though. Spags loves him too much. Oh well

I watched all of those pressures and the biggest piece of shit that allowed the most seemed like Jawaan Taylor. Von Miller whipped his ass.

If the OL is having a bad day, why aren’t they calling more plays to
get the ball out of Pats hands quickly?
