So no. YOU get to suck MY dick, coward

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The logic of this thread isn’t flawed. We are very spoiled as fans. This goddamn team is 20-1 in the last 12 months. That’s absolutely absurd beyond words. We really shouldn’t be complaining about a damn thing literally ever. It’s hard, because I think we all see this team could be even better than they are, and that’s just crazy to think about. We all just want more and more. It comes with the territory of being fans of possibly the greatest organization of our lifetimes. Never thought in my wildest dreams I would type that.

Pat, I’m sorry I criticized your deep ball. You’re a nice young man and I like you very much.

Pro tip: if you don't like this thread and are endlessly going to complain about your inclusion on the list or its existence, just ignore it. It'll go away. You guys give it so much more oxygen than it deserves or would otherwise have.

Give up a 3rd and 15 because they blocked up the blitz and qb made a great throw to a well covered receiver, it's hard to get mad at that.

3rd and 15 and they get 20, because there's nobody within a country mile of the check down? That's some egregious horseshit right there, and deserves some heat.

4th and 2 and everyone on the planet except for Spags and Co know that Josh Allen isn't giving up this football, and not only gets the first, but goes what, 20+ for the game killing touchdown? It's that level of stuff that draws the noise complaint from my neighbors.
Before HP took over and started using it to troll, these threads were all about the complete lack of proportional response to the smallest amount of adversity possible, which is what I was getting at.

Read the posts about the defense... none of these are in the moment shout-at-cloud stuff that we all do when they give up a 3rd and long or whatever. It's taking that 3rd and long conversion and extrapolating it out to the defense being ****ing ass and they'll never win a Super Bowl.

That's my point. We literally have everything we ever wanted. We are Charlie in the Chocolate factory. We not only finally have a franchise QB but the greatest QB to ever play. We have a top 10 defense. We have a HC can that design a legitimate offense and score in the playoffs.

And people bitch and complain because we punt 5 times a game. They fear losing when we give up 14 points in the first half. We're going to win FOUR straight super bowls and half the comments in a game thread are bitching.

Enjoy what we've waited a lifetime for. This is it - there will be no greater moment. We'll never, EVER have it better for the rest of our lives. What's being done right now has never been done in the history of the NFL.

And if you can't you damned well better expect the rest of us to shit in the top of your toilet...

Yeah, my personal favorite reads are the ones that post things like how can we get out of Mahomes contract, Pat sucks, shitting on the best player that ever lived.

The line of thinking is annoying, when read ad nauseum. However, it did lead to one of the greatest reverse mojo occurrences I've ever seen when this behavior spawned Pete's legendary "Won't sniff the playoffs" thread.
