*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

None of it was ever 100% his fault, and I'd argue that with anyone... but you know how this works in the NFL, the QB is held to a higher standard than anyone else, because the NFL is a QB driven league

Your hero could buy everything I own and burn it for kicks

Hope he does well God as my witness, but I'm tired of defending him... if you can afford your own private island, you can win it all or get out
We're good. You are one of those true KC fans that I am very happy for, when it comes to Mahomes... the drafting of and exciting potential of.

In my ideal world, Alex would get a SB this time.. finish out his contract in KC, and Pat would take over in 2019.. but it's unlikely to be.. and that's okay.

Part of growing up is appreciating what you have.. and accepting that not every little thing falls your way. It's all been a fun ride.. and it's likely to continue to be.

Go Chiefs!

Had Seattle not been banged up from that epic Packers game in 2015, they would have manhandled the Patriots in the SB

All the more reason for Veach to allocate a ton of his resources this offseason toward the defense. It sets up very well to do so as almost the entire offense is set to return.

The Defense needs a space eating run defense dominant NT to free up through edge rushers. Bennie Logan isn't getting it done

We could use a better edge rusher opposite Houston, and corner help

Tanoh looked pretty mediocre out there Sunday. Although he does have 8 months to work on it.

I still think you go out and get a solid receiver for Pat to pair with all the other awesome weapons he has, but yeah this entire off-season can be focused on the defense. Not to overlook this year but 2018-19 Is going to be awesome.
