Thank you. I just scanned the 10pm thread and didn't see anything.

Going to go view that thread now.

With all of the obvious parody threads on the front page, I wanted to know what spawned it all.

One thing I need to work on is just listening. Not everyone needs advice. Like my friend from work. What the hell do I know about relationships, let alone failing marriages? I just listened. When she asked for my opinion, I told her what I thought.

Keeping an opinion to yourself can be one of the toughest things to do.

Same ol same ol here. Just a notch more difficult (due to a bit of a cold). Came home, had some awesome corned beef and cabbage and had a eucalyptus bath. A short nap later and the world was right again. How bout you?

Oh.....okay. I have no clue what that means. You sound important though. Are you someone that would get tons of OT if an ice storm hit and half the city lost power?

While I don't share your opinion of corned beef and cabbage, the bath sounds nice.

I get to have a 2 day weekend minus about an hour. My boss ran away and got married this weekend. It's payroll weekend. I'm the only one she trusts to take care of making sure people's times are right, getting everything approved, and updating the attendance spreadsheet. Instead of rushing around first thing Monday, I'm going in tomorrow night after everyone leaves (running an overtime shift until 6:30pm). Go in, put on some tunes, and figure away. I don't think it'll take an entire hour.

Other than that, work was fine tonight. I only had to work 8 hours!

We are a 24/7 unit so generally we always have relief. But, yeah, that is possible.

Sounds like a plan. It also sounds like you are in good with your boss which is a good thing.

Forget work for now. Get a nice drink, kick off your shoes and relax.

That must have been a nice change for this week.
