Or it's a bunch of folks being facetious about how ****ing dog shit the Tigers are currently. Yeah, everybody knows barring catastrophic injury Burden is still going to be picked well before the Chiefs would have a chance at him.

Oh the irony of this post....

You might want to heed your own advice and stop to consider what you are posting....and recognize sarcasm when you see it.

Eh - nothing of note.

We went in there defeated with a defeated gameplan and hoped we'd get lucky.

Not much to say beyond that. I kinda zoned out down 20-0 and left at the end of the 3rd.

Went downtown and had wings and drinks and didn't think much of it.

As much as Denver seems to pick up Mizzou players, my fear is that he will get drafted by the cheating Donks. I would really hate that. I want to root for Mizzou players to be successful. But I refuse to do it as long they are a part of that crappy franchise. Right now they have what, 2? KAD and Badie. That's 2 too many already.

I was worried about that too, but unless Denver goes in the tank the rest of the season they're not going to have a shot at him either without a trade. I knew Luther was one of the top WRs in this class, but until watching him this season I didn't realize exactly how good he is. When he gets the ball in his hands, his athleticism jumps off the screen. Elite body control, off the charts. He makes really good athletes look very ordinary.

I’m getting lambasted on PM for my Drinkwitz hate and takes and I’d seriously like someone to explain to me why he’s this untouchable deity….

Five ****ing years and one of them was great and if we’re all being honest, it was completely magical and everything went right and then we beat Ohio St.’s C team to win the Cotton Bowl.

The guy can’t find a QB to save his life even though I’m told constantly he’s the greatest recruiter in CFB history….oh BTW, he does jack shit with the talent he does recruit.

I swear, this fanbase is filled with pussies who just want to be relevant and want to act like a big boy….until it’s time to act like a big boy. Spare me “well this is Mizzou and who could you get that’s better?” “You CANNOT move on from a guy like this at Mizzou”….ok lol.

This season is an unmitigated disaster…IDGAF about being 6-2, the playoff dream is over…another reason why anyone throws 17-6 in my face I laugh, what the hell is leading to? It’s just a number…who cares what the record is if the playoffs (which ARE all that matter now) out of reach? Does anyone give a shit about FSU’s undefeated record last year even though they missed the CFP? Not. One. Person.

He’s not the guy, he’s not going to be the guy….but because this fanbase is ok with being ok we’ll waste time pretending he is and buy the snake oil every year until we eventually fire him or he leaves.

I hope someone is dumb enough to hire him this offseason….

Ain't no way I'm coming to Mizzou if I'm a top QB. You just know that Drinks gonna pick a kid to fall in love with and you'll be riding the bench for 2+ years waiting for his lover to graduate. We've had several highly rated guys come through, but then leave because they got absolutely no chance and have to sit behind Basic Brady. He's the most average QB to ever play. He's never gonna win you a big game and he's had wayyy more bad games than good ones.

With that being said I think Zollers is coming to MU and really does just want to go to that game.

I still don't think he's playing next season anyway. That leg injury was pretty gnarly.

Obviously would rather keep him than not, but it is what it is.

I read somewhere that Mizzou is dead last in the Power 5 in 'catchable ball' percentage. We kill Pyne (and we should, he's laughably awful) but that's still a Cook stat.

He's just been god-awful this year. And we've said it virtually every game - even when he's 'on' he's missing balls left and right. It's not the OL, it's not the receivers. He's just regressed something awful and he's just playing terrible quarterback.

No reason to expect any real changes on that front at this point in the season. Last season was clearly fool's gold.

Sucks.

I think about the best sales job you can put on a QB right now is that when Cook was simply decent last season, this team was a tough out. Don't let Cook convince you that this program can't win with you - if anything he proves that it CAN. Because it's having an okay season even with him being one of the worst QBs in major college football this season.

Why the **** wouldn't you want to go to a big game for free and get some perks especially as a high schooler.

Cook had 3 really good games his first year as a starter, then a 5 game streak last year that was good. Outside of those 8 games he's been really bad to average. He can't even run up the score on cupcakes. Drink is obsessed with him for some reason and I don't understand it. The only thing that I can think of is that Drink is an egomaniac/smartest guy in the room and isn't going to ever admit that he's wrong about something.

By that same token Penn State isn't bringing him in for tea and crumpets. They're trying to get him to flip to their program. And him and his representatives are probably going to at least listen to whatever pitch they make.
