Look up Osso Buco. Great use for shanks. Looks like you had all the ingredients handy. Brown then braise the shanks along with the veggies. Make a gravy from the drippings. Serve it all over a pile of mashed taters

those look tasty, but cheese isn't authentic on a street taco i'd still pound them like a MILF schoolteacher

gotta love a good taco!
have been contemplating making my own shells. the old el paso types are too thick. the thought of taco's took me to a different place today. i decided i am gonna cook minced lamb and feta stuffed capsicum's. got some rosemary, chives, and some mint plus the obvious: garlic.

Street tacos > all other tacos
Cheese doesn't belong on street tacos. Looks good though.

Their standard tacos have no cheese. Meat, onion, cilantro, shell. However their Especial tacos have the grilled jalapeno and cheese. So I think they get to keep their street taco cred. |

I married my wife mostly for her Taco, because I like Taco and didn't want to have to go out for one every day
