The ironic thing is I do think the refs favor certain calls - ones that favor the underdog. Close games sell advertising. These games need to come down to the wire, to overtime, to be down to the last second. That's what makes money.

Blowouts and predictable games lose eyes, drop ratings, and make for a less valuable product.

And had KC been healthy this year these games wouldn't have been close. With no fewer than 4 starters missing at all times this year after game 2 the league was incredibly lucky....

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The good news is that this is the playoffs. They won't lose eyes, even if it's a blowout. Add in the gambling money and there's nothing holding the Chiefs back this time.

Bad sample and that is just for starters. How about a little analysis about the calls that were made. If anyone bothered to look at the "bad calls" in the game against the Texans, they would have seen Texans players lowering their heads when they went after Mahomes. How about a little analysis about who gets how many calls when the opponent lowers their head and makes helmet-to-helmet contact against the quarterback? Might that alter the statistics a bit?

I mean, it's a lot of talk. If true that 85% of the betting public picked the Bills and the line for the Chiefs just increased we're talking about a group that says the refs guarantee a Chiefs win, then show their true feelings with their wallet.

If they really believed this shit they would bet accordingly

Yep. The public is betting AGAINST the ref narrative.

And Vegas appears to think the Chiefs are going to win.

I get the feeling this game will be called like the Super Bowl last year where there hardly any flags and they let both teams play. I’m good with that, but the pansies on social media will still find a way to complain about it.

I sure hope you're right, but it would be out of character for Blakeman

What an embarrassment to the league on the 2nd biggest gameday of the season. Not Josh Allen. Not Patrick Mahomes.

Refs are the team all week. What a ****ing joke
Remember when the Chiefs beat the Bengals in the AFCCG and their fan base complained about rigged/scripts and it gained steam? Now it’s the Texans and their fans blaming refs which has gained steam. It just shows how much everyone is tired of KC along with how simple minded and easily influenced they are.

Well, based on what I'm seeing, at least the Seahawk fans are with us - they're still thanking us for beating the 49ers twice.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Well the Broncos and their fan base haven’t been relevant since Manning retired. Even then I expect it from their fans as a rival.
