Grocery store had a sale on great looking NY strip steaks for 6.99/lb today. Can't wait to cook them tonight.
Pics maybe.

Didn't get a picture of the steaks after cooking, because of second picture.

What?!? If you cook shrimp too long it turns into rubber.

Shit load of corn, some of it puréed with stock, cooked with potatoes, andouille, red bell, Cajun seasoning like Tony's. Add the shrimp at the end, then finish with some cream. I'll post the recipe next time I get to a real keyboard. It's super easy. It's from a slow cooker book from ATK I got my wife that minimizes prep. She hates cooking, so any cheats are good for her. I like to cook, but sometimes don't want to. |

Wife wants to lose a few pounds so she had me buy fish. I picked up some tilapia fillets. What's the best way to cook these, pan sear or oven? I have only done salmon on the grill.

Pan sear or en papillote (sp?). It'll take whatever flavor you give it, so do something other than salt and pepper, otherwise it's pretty boring.
