My AFC projection is Mahomes, Lamar, Allen, Burrow, Maye, Herbert, CJ, Tua, the Prince, Nix. Tenth QB in the conference means they have to keep relying on D just to make the playoffs.

That's the story right there. I mean up until 2 years ago, 7th place didn't even get in. There's usually a big gap between the frontrunners and a seven seed. I don't think seven seeds belong in the playoffs, it's too many teams for one, and they're not competitive.

Donks are officially in the preliminary stages of "if we only had more weapons" phase of purgatory. It's the mantra of every team with an average QB.

Right now, they can project hope on players they don't have and off-season improvement from Nix that hasn't happened yet.

They'll find out soon enough...ask the Chargers about how the Herbert experiment is going.

Nix had 6 yards passing from the early bomb until 2 minutes before half. Bills had the 24th ranked pass defense...

Denver had a better year than I expected and Bo Nix was a part of that. That said, Bo Nix at best is a weak-armed Alex Smith. Good enough to get you to the play-offs and that;s about it. He needs a strong supporting cast to win.

They beat a bunch of scrub ass teams and KCs JV team to get a participation playoff game. Their 3rd place schedule has the bung holes and the fudge packers on it next year. They're going to come crashing back to reality in 2025.
