And you guys gotta shed your expectations that I'm gonna turn on my team, or not defend them, or agree with your nonsense criticisms of the Broncos and their history. None of that's ever gonna happen.

What is the problem with everyone in here? You pretend not to understand that it's perfectly logical to make statistical analyses based on the merger date forward. That's what that video did, and what countless other deep-dive statistics do, you see these EVERY DAY.

If you want to compare teams back to and including AFL stats, your comparison pool gets whittled down to 8, maybe 10 ... but even so, that's also a perfectly logical period to analyze, even though it excludes NFL Franchises.

YouTube is NOT an authoritative source. Your reliance on a questionable source to make your point for you makes your conclusions invalid. Garbage in, garbage out. Just because some doofus posted a video that starts counting at a point in time that is convenient to you, it doesn't mean his decision to do so was reasonable.

The Broncos were a truly shitty franchise for the first 13 years. They failed to finish with a record over .500 at any point during that time. They finished .500 just a single time in 1962. They had a cumulative record of 53-123-6 for a winning percentage of .3128.

We all know why it is that you want to ignore that period of Broncos history, but it is part of your history. You don't get to discount it just because you find it inconvenient just like you don't get to ignore your horrific Super Bowl appearances and your poor record against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs have been a superior franchise to the Broncos over the course of our shared histories and you don't like that, so you cover your eyes and pretend you don't see the bad years, but facts are stubborn things. They exist whether you acknowledge them or not.
