I agree with you. But with the team we have and with Kelce having just a little juice left all I want is a bare minimum of a good enough WR who consistently has a feel for the position and catching the ball.

Kelce shouldn’t be relied upon to be Kelce after this year. He’s about done

That's a bit strong. He has the third most receiving yards for a tight end this year with 2 fewer games played.

He can still be a key piece for a few more years, but I do agree he might not be able to steal an extra GOAT year like we got in 2022.

I would attack this problem in FA bc a 1st rd WR in Andy's system is gonna be just like Rice. Don't want to rely on a 1st rd WR to lead the change.

I want 2 FA WR's that can come in and be effective day 1. It's. It's not hard to be better than Skyy and catch the ball unlike MVS.

Get a couple FA's and have your 1st rd WR be a complimentary player to start the season.

I wouldn’t mind a first round wr, but yeah they need atleast a solid vet.

I’d trade our pick for aiyuk and pay him and be done with it

Pay whatever you need to to get. #1 WR.
Draft a TE in rd 2 or 3.

He used the same argument you presented. You should at least acknowledge he made fair points. This is more on the WR's than Mahomes. Always has been. However your criticism of Mahomes is fair though in some circumstances..

My expectations are to field a championship football team in any and all seasons.

We HAD a top tier WR paired with a HOF TE, and got diminishing returns two seasons in a row.

We won the SB with a mid-tier WR at best and the same crew we have now, with a defense playing a little better late in the year than early.

This year, that same WR group is playing like shit, but man, that defense is killing it.

I have zero desire to go back to opposing offenses scoring 30 points at will on us.

We've shown that with even mid-tier WR play, we can be the best offense in football.

Cut MVS, use his $14m next season towards a FA WR (Evans, Ridley, Pittman, Brown, Mooney)

Use our 1st (Coleman, Egbuka, Mitchell, Franklin, Legette, Thomas, Worthy)

Use a 2-4th rd pick on a WR (Rice, Wilson, Polk, Harris, Horton, etc..) .

They aren't spreading it around though. Justin Watson has 16 targets the last 2 games. That needs to be a WR1.

Absolutely this.

Probably just the first, though. It's doubtful a mid-rounder would see the field at all, unless it's as a speedy returner.

I’m not totally convinced he will even be playing football next year. If he does, I think it’s definitely his last year.

Mooney, Franklin, & Wilson would be interesting.

Wilson plays 2nd TE instead of WR.
